1 Kings 6
Solomon Builds the Temple
1 It was in midspring, in the month of Ziv,[a] during the fourth year of Solomon’s reign, that he began to construct the Temple of the Lord. This was 480 years after the people of Israel were rescued from their slavery in the land of Egypt.
2 The Temple that King Solomon built for the Lord was 90 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 45 feet high.[b] 3 The entry room at the front of the Temple was 30 feet[c] wide, running across the entire width of the Temple. It projected outward 15 feet[d] from the front of the Temple. 4 Solomon also made narrow recessed windows throughout the Temple.
5 He built a complex of rooms against the outer walls of the Temple, all the way around the sides and rear of the building. 6 The complex was three stories high, the bottom floor being 7 1⁄2 feet wide, the second floor 9 feet wide, and the top floor 10 1⁄2 feet wide.[e] The rooms were connected to the walls of the Temple by beams resting on ledges built out from the wall. So the beams were not inserted into the walls themselves.
7 The stones used in the construction of the Temple were finished at the quarry, so there was no sound of hammer, ax, or any other iron tool at the building site.
8 The entrance to the bottom floor[f] was on the south side of the Temple. There were winding stairs going up to the second floor, and another flight of stairs between the second and third floors. 9 After completing the Temple structure, Solomon put in a ceiling made of cedar beams and planks. 10 As already stated, he built a complex of rooms along the sides of the building, attached to the Temple walls by cedar timbers. Each story of the complex was 7 1⁄2 feet[g] high.
11 Then the Lord gave this message to Solomon: 12 “Concerning this Temple you are building, if you keep all my decrees and regulations and obey all my commands, I will fulfill through you the promise I made to your father, David. 13 I will live among the Israelites and will never abandon my people Israel.”
The Temple’s Interior
14 So Solomon finished building the Temple. 15 The entire inside, from floor to ceiling, was paneled with wood. He paneled the walls and ceilings with cedar, and he used planks of cypress for the floors. 16 He partitioned off an inner sanctuary—the Most Holy Place—at the far end of the Temple. It was 30 feet deep and was paneled with cedar from floor to ceiling. 17 The main room of the Temple, outside the Most Holy Place, was 60 feet[h] long. 18 Cedar paneling completely covered the stone walls throughout the Temple, and the paneling was decorated with carvings of gourds and open flowers.
19 He prepared the inner sanctuary at the far end of the Temple, where the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant would be placed. 20 This inner sanctuary was 30 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 30 feet high. He overlaid the inside with solid gold. He also overlaid the altar made of cedar.[i] 21 Then Solomon overlaid the rest of the Temple’s interior with solid gold, and he made gold chains to protect the entrance[j] to the Most Holy Place. 22 So he finished overlaying the entire Temple with gold, including the altar that belonged to the Most Holy Place.
23 He made two cherubim of wild olive[k] wood, each 15 feet[l] tall, and placed them in the inner sanctuary. 24 The wingspan of each of the cherubim was 15 feet, each wing being 7 1⁄2 feet[m] long. 25 The two cherubim were identical in shape and size; 26 each was 15 feet tall. 27 He placed them side by side in the inner sanctuary of the Temple. Their outspread wings reached from wall to wall, while their inner wings touched at the center of the room. 28 He overlaid the two cherubim with gold.
29 He decorated all the walls of the inner sanctuary and the main room with carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers. 30 He overlaid the floor in both rooms with gold.
31 For the entrance to the inner sanctuary, he made double doors of wild olive wood with five-sided doorposts.[n] 32 These double doors were decorated with carvings of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers. The doors, including the decorations of cherubim and palm trees, were overlaid with gold.

what time do you do your bible reading in the mornings
Shalom brother Paul 😊
Just wandering Paul, do you know the New Covenant is for people in tjis day and age… You NEVER read from it… Christians ” Yes that means YOU ” primarily live from the New Testament, not that the Old Testament isn’t relavent, it certainly is but it’s not the Focus of The Gospel of Yeshua…
What are you talking about?
John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.
So what is the “New Covenant”?
The Torah written on our hearts and in our minds”.
Where is the Torah in your Bible?
As for “Christianity”.
Do you understand the title “Christ”, is just a common title, like president, or mayor, or dog catcher, that stems from paganism?
The moment you say “Christ”, I am forced to ask, like president, and dog catcher, “Which one?”
Christ in Greek means “anointed one”.
So technically, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Isaiah, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, both of them, Paul, Hades, Zeus, Tammuz, would qualify, as it is a generic title.
If you celebrate Easter, Christ Mass, and observe Sun Day worship, my first guess is Tammuz, as Easter is all about him, and his birth has been celebrated since Babylon, December 25th.
My saviour deserves better than some common title.
And there is only one who can wear the title Messiah.
The Pope is a Christian because he claims to represent a church that follows a “Christ”.
Jehovah Witnesses are Christian, as much as Christianity wants to deny them, as they follow a “Christ”.
It could even argued anyone who celebrates “Christ Mass”, is a Christian.
A person who followed Zeus, a Khristos, would be a Khristian.
I am not one. I used to be, but I left Babylon, and got grafted into Israel. Not to be confused with the State of Israel, which flies an occult flag, and is built upon the Kingdom of Judah, not Israel. Israel was the northern ten tribes.
Luke 1:33 and he will rule the House of Ya‘akov forever — there will be no end to his Kingdom.”
2 Thessalonians 2:9 When this man who avoids Torah comes, the Adversary will give him the power to work all kinds of false miracles, signs and wonders. 10 He will enable him to deceive, in all kinds of wicked ways, those who are headed for destruction because they would not receive the love of the truth that could have saved them. 11 This is why God is causing them to go astray, so that they will believe the Lie. 12 The result will be that all who have not believed the truth, but have taken their pleasure in wickedness, will be condemned.
Mat_23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
The Torah was already known in the days of Christ. Why He didn’t feel need to explain things already known to all the Jews and lost tribes where He sent His taught ones. Christ is the Word and I sure you will agree with this truth. So when you reject the Torah you reject the Messiah you are prophesying sadly.
Mat_7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat_7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Christ pleaded with those he wanted to reach to listen to His Father’s instruction
Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Christ Came to Fulfill the Law
Mat 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Mat 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Mat 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Wow Paul Seen something new today Praise Ya. 1 Kings 6: King James version
1Ki 6:7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of” iron” heard in the house, while it was in building.
Iron(Roman Empire) and the clay from book of Daniel. Isn’t it interesting that we need to take the Iron(False teachings) from the teachings of Ya from day to day as this been the biggest reason there so much confusion in the world, wow!!
Maybe i off on this but it makes so much sense knowing the true history of the powers that changed appointed days and doctrine.
Great reading as always. Love and prayers to you from NS, Canada..Shalom
