I don’t think I’ve ever met a Mormon. I live in the south so I guess we don’t have many around here.
They are here. Called Later Day Saints, but they are few and far between. I had my first and several further encounters after we moved from NY to NC.

So reading the bible as a child has its advantages. I mean as a person hungry for truth but not going in with human preconceptions. Even hymns have had some ‘close to truth teachings:) The old hymn, “on Christ the solid rock I stand all other ground is sinking sand” close but not what Yeshua said!! He explained, the firm foundation was not he himself but PUTTING MY WORDS INTO PRACTICE. This has gotten confused over the centuries. Of Course, Yeshua is our chief corner stone. He taught however for us to, PUT HIS WORDS INTO PRACTICE!!

Blessings to Jake for his bravery and faith, knowing that when he escaped that cult he was risking losing everything he knew and losing family/friends he loves dearly, he was not alone – Yehovah was leading him and giving him the courage needed to be de-programmed, start again, and be HEALED!! It amazes me how you can see the lies of mormonism and how satan mixes and twists truths in with his lies but you can’t see how the “apostle” Paul does the same exact thing
Shaul told the Truth of Yahshua haMashiach. Yahshua opened his eyes to see the Light – Acts chapter 9 (Steve Green sings a beautiful “I Can See” regarding the Emmaus Road experience of Yahshua’s aunt Mary and uncle Cleopas, as He walked with them and they could not behold Who He Was, and suddenly as He gave them bread as their MalchiZadak, their eyes were opened – Luke 24:21 – WE CAN SEE!)

Best thing a person can do is for a person to decide to hear what God has to say for ones self.
Reading scripture is an extraordinary experience.
Nothing I know of compares even the slightest.
There are so many falsehoods in modern day Christianity, the reason I believe is they have forsaken the Torah. The School Master .
Jews , and gentiles for that matter should reject Catholicism, Protestantism and Mormonism.
It’s the Christ in Christianity one should embrace.

Shalom, shalom….An interesting series. I’ve been looking into other fictitious writings other than Mormonism that would include Yeshua,…. namely the stories that claim that he survived the crucifixion and lived in India till he was 80 or 90 years old, died and was buried in Srinagar, Kashmir under the name Yuz Asaf, also Isha Putra in the Bhavashya Purana . The names Isa, Essa, Esa and its varients definitely indicates the Islamic influence on these sources, where in chapter 5 of the Quran, Yeshua didn’t die on the cross, and was therefore never resurrected. (They also say he’ll return with the Imam Mahdi, kill off all the bad seed, reign for 40, then die again.)
