  1. what about people who live with chronic pain..I live with severe pain on a daily basis and have to take pain medication just to get outta bed..is that a sin??

  2. Deuteronomy 14:26American Standard Version (ASV)

26 and thou shalt bestow the money for whatsoever thy soul desireth, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul asketh of thee; and thou shalt eat there before Jehovah thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou and thy household.

    • +jarro79jl OK I just don’t agree with someone saying that it’s wrong to drink alcohol but is overweight and obviously excessively eats but we are going to ignore gluttony. I think the way he is teaching is wrong you cannot single out drinking or smoking or any other drug anything in excessive amounts are not right. It’s like someone tells me that smoking cigarettes Is wrong and it is but the same person sits in front of the TV and binge watch for Hours on end.

    • +Lawrence Taliaferro what YHWH is saying is that he knows us better than we know ourselves, the scriptures on over drinking makes a good point, if a person is drunk, fighting could occur, rape could occur, arguments could occur, cheating could occur adultry, fornication, insults, hurting of one’s feelings abusiveness, that’s why YHWH encourages us not to over do in drinking wine, or any alcohol substance, YHWH knows us better than ourselves.

  3. Thanks for the video. You surprised me with this topic. I had absolutely NO idea that Believers were having these issues and justifying their behavior. BTW, the trimmed beard looks nice.

  4. Great video 💞. I’m struggling with wine and have been praying to help these desires go away. The Holy Spirit has convicted me on so many things. Swearing, fornicating, gossiping, lying, making sure to forgive, the list goes on and on. I stop when I’m on my cleanse and now going to start the Daniel diet. It’s when I’m off the cleansing 😩😩 I do not justify drinking wine or any alcoholic beverage. Many are justifying marijuana due to its ‘medical purpose’. I believe so many wouldn’t need any pharmaceutical drugs if they only lived a healthy lifestyle and so much of that has to do with food !! I’m vegan now due to the animals getting drugged and abused. And stay away from GMO as much as possible. Our body’s are to be the Temple of the Holy Spirit and what we eat and drink should be to God 💞. Also so many live with parasites in there body. Most parasites come from pork, under cooked meats, and raw fish (sushi) which God forbids us to eat in Leviticus. I just finished a parasite cleanse. No idea if I had them but not that I was really looking 😂😂. John 3:16 💙

    • Praise YaHoVaH! Call on Him, Jackie, and He will deliver you.
I drank excessively for years. House of Israel read my prayer request a month ago and the cravings left me completely. I had prayed on my own also.
I’ll pray for you as well, in Yeshua’s name. Shabbat shalom.

    • Its sounds like you may need spiritual surgery, “Dealing with the root of you addictions and issues.” Often it is not enough to try and quite with out dealing with why you do it to begin with….Believe it or not many of our desires can be generational and will go away when we allow the Holy Spirit do the uprooting.

    • No one wants a Torah Believer to stumble, we would refrain from making you stumble, however there would be a time to grown up and mature!
There are things I used to do, I do not anymore, didn’t control them will, however if someone else has the liberty, why should I stop them for myself…shalom

    • True. It should not be abused. I have used both of these before choose to refrain now. I do not think it is wrong to do. In medical uses As herb. The cures and ailments it has been given as healing plant. Wine can be used in spirit. The coffee beans were given to us to use too. Our Creator has provided us with all these beautiful things to use. By the way. I don’t drink coffee like I used to. Since I want it organic and cold press. It has less acid in it and great antioxidants!! Shalom

  6. Hey Paul, really enjoy your videos and your health message, however the Scriptures do not condemn the use of alcohol but the abuse of it. There are many verses that show that drinking yayin (fermented wine) was allowed, sometimes commanded at feast days. For example:

Deuteronomy 14:26 “and thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine (yayin), or for strong drink (shekar- liquor), or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the Lord thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household.”

If you want to make the case that wine is grape juice, the Scriptures say otherwise. Grape juice in Hebrew is tiyrowsh (H8492) and fermented wine is yayin (H3196). Yayin is what Noah drank and got drunk. The same yayin is mentioned in the verse above and allowed to drink BEFORE YHWH. Not only that but also allowed is strong drink which is liquor and in the Hebrew its shekar (H7941). Get a lexicon and do a word search and you will find that when yayin is prohibited it has a context of abusing the substance. Again the Scriptures don’t prohibit the use of alcohol but its abuse or drunkenness. Similar case with gluttony. Eating food is not prohibited but the abuse of it, over eating or gluttony.

Personally, I hate the taste of alcohol so I’m not bias on this point. However, we have to be honest with the Scriptures and don’t fall in the error of the Pharisees making man’s tradition into commandments of God (Mark 7). Another interesting point is that God required yayin or fermented wine as part of the daily sacrifices in the temple, read Numbers 15. All the times it mentions wine in the Hebrew is yayin, alcoholic or fermented wine. Why would God ask for yayin in his holy temple if it’s prohibited to drink it?

The sin is drunkness not drinking alcohol. When you loose control over alcohol, at that point it becomes an idol in your life at that point its a sin. The same applies for anything in life; money, sex, food, pleasures etc. None of those are prohibited but when they become lords over your life, then watch out. If for me alcohol is a stumbling block, then I should stay away from it but can’t make it into a commandment and call it a sin when Torah does not prohibit it. Remember, sin is the transgression of Torah. Where there is no Torah, there is no sin. Love you brother Paul, Shalom.

  7. So glad you spoke on this very important. I had a woman’s Bible study and they wanted to bring wine. I said no way my thoughts are anything that alters your mind is not Godly it opens your mind to Satan and it makes it hard to decipher deception. Guild your mind because it controls your body!

  8. I know that alcohol and drugs are not for God’s people, He guided me on that long ago. However, I was convicted recently about caffeine (coffee). I had no idea that I shouldn’t be using this until I tried several times doing a long fast and was sent into a migraine as a result of my addition. I was so heart broken that I could not follow through with my promise to Yahweh. It has been a struggle but I have given up caffeine. We are called to only have one God in our life, that means all addictions must go. Thank you for your willingness to stand up and preach the Truth.

  9. I’ve seen many verses that seem to contradict each other when it comes to Wine according to the Bible. Verses that say Wine is Both Good and Bad. My strongest conclusion after prayer, scripture, and asking for wisdom is that The Bible Speaks on Two different types of Wine. Unfermented Wine, also known as Grape Juice, and Alcoholic wine. I Strongly believe that The Bible speaks on Unfermented Grape Juice when it refers to Yeshua Drinking Wine in the scriptures.
