  1. animated for simpletons. How can a God be ‘morally perfect’ when he sanctions slavery, homophobia, wiccaphobia, mass murder, rape, genocide, blood sacrifice etc etc etc?

“Name one moral action or moral statement that a theist can do or make that an atheist cannot “

    • it seems I have been underestimating the figure, here is a good argument for the number of 28 MILLION god claims

      http://atheism.wikia.com/wiki/How_many_gods%3F

The 22,000 figure has been floating around for a while, either way it makes theist look ridiculous.

      A few quote seem pertinent
“all religious claims of their god existence could not possibly be right, but they could all be wrong”
“What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.” Christopher Hitchens.

    • Rabie M someone claim’s he does not believe something due to the lack of proof and the unreliability of the written context used as evidence, and without a 2nd thought you asked this person to prove to you why he/she does not believe.

You just asked him/her to “prove to you why he/she has no proof” ??

Do you see why it’s difficult to debate with people like you , i and a lot of others are here to learn. We want to belief, it’s not really amusing to go out of existence after death, but it’s a valid option after death. Before we were born we didn’t exist, it’s not hard to see why after we die we may no longer exist. And have you really thought about the intensity of eternal life (infinity). There’s nothing amusing about that, please look at the numbers below

      100 years = 10 *10 = 10^2
      1000 years = 10 * 10* 10 = 10^3
      1000000 years = 10^6
      4200000000 years (atheist age of the earth) = 4.2 * 10^9
      1 trillion years = 10^12
      Eternal life= 10^infinity

    • Its impossible to debate with people like Rabie M.  Most atheists will debate with facts and logic, while people like Rabie M (theists) use feelings and faith!  Just doesn’t work!

    • yeah I stopped engaging in debates with creationist (either kind, young earth or old earth) or flat earthers as invariably the conversation descends into ad hominem (with either side calling the other things like stupid or moron), becomes circular and quite frankly I get sick of having to explain what credible evidence is, what Russel’s Teapot is (and where the burden of proof lies) and what a logical fallacy is and why one cannot construct an argument containing one or more logical fallacies if they want it to be held up as true.
I have found this kind of discourse to be ultimately futile and an exercise in frustration for both parties, they will not convince me of the validity of creationism or theism [as not one of them has been able to present any credible evidence for almost all of their claims] and I have found I cannot change their minds about theism or flat earthism.

  2. This morning I was reading trough Exodus on my phone while in the bus, and desperately asked the Lord for something to guide me through my reading, for I was feeling quite lost. And now, few hours later, I find this video on my recommended section! Jesus told us to ask in his name and things would be granted. Thank you, Father, for your love and guidance, all praise to you, Lord!

    • Orion You should seriously seek help for your narcissism & false sense of intellect & superiority. Your misdirected & misguided words are both ignorant & disrespectful & lack tact & any ounce of the way a MAN should behave. You can’t even think for yourself let alone anyone else. Laughable. I’ll continue to pray for you & one day your blinders will be lifted either in life or death. But you WILL know the ultimate TRUTH of your awesome creator!

    • and the trend continues, you are stuck in a loop of self delusion, can you not offer anything other than your dogmatic platitudes as a response? Everything you say about me also very aptly applies to your own posting. As far as not being able to think for one’s self, are you fucking joking mate, you continuously demonstrate an inability to deviate from your brainwashing, lashing out at anyone who dares to challenge any of your unsubstantiated claims?

I have had the ‘blinders’ removed and am capable of see what religion does to people, and you are a perfect example of how close minded, ignorant and obstinate a theist can be. Seer the point is you THINK you have found the answer and have stopped looking, and when someone tries to enlighten you your response is regurgitate the bullshit that your religion has brainwashed you into believing is ‘truth’.

And again with the threats and Pascal’s Wager, is that your go to response? Don’t make assertions unless you can provide evidence for them, otherwise they cannot be held up as true.

As far as your ad hominem concerning my manhood, truly a desperate and pathetic display mate, again you live up to the low expectation I have (actually you have now lowered them further) for any of your ilk.

  3. Im surprised y’all made Jesus brown lol! I figured He was middle eastern skin toned…hey then again what do I know. Im south Asian…brown skinned…I love the Father, Yeshuah, and the Holy Spirit…don’t matter to me what He looked like on Earth.

    • +EndTime Bible Intelligence
How about this? Me, you, nor anyone else alive actually knows for a fact what He looked like. Anyone can speculate but that’s all it is, speculation. That’s the only fact that can’t be disputed, no one truly knows. I’d say you’re the one who’s been “spoon fed” a bunch of racial nonsense by someone who has racist views on life. So actually, they got YOU.

    • EndTime Bible Intelligence Nope, it can be rainbow collor and I wouldn’t mind. God The Father doesn’t have a form like of a human, He is just pure light and goodness.

    • That sounds very spiritual but God went to great pains for a reason to describe Jesus as a Jew living a Jewish lifestyle. It should strike us as significant that at his birth he’s called King of the Jews and also at his death. When we make him other than what the Bible portrays him as and turn him into a universal all-purpose man he can be co-opted for any and every cause: hence the revolutionary Jesus, the gay Jesus, the Jihadist Jesus, etc. He is the Saviour of all people but let’s not get super-spiritual and divorce him from his context.

  4. So, when we are told to be Holy we are being told to separate ourselves from the rest of the world. To not conform to the ways on this world.

    • Son Of Jesus I would greet you in response & give you what I have to drink. Even if it’s only the rivers of everlasting life. For surely the spirit & the bride say come, and let him that heareth say come, and let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. 😊😊😊

    • Melch, he said HOLY means complete, as in whole. Harmony. Light. There is no concentration on staying away from certain people. Christ mixed with everyone.

  5. “Holy”
    comes
    from “heile”
    which
    means
    “sun’s
    rays”,
    and “Helios”
    is the sun-person
    who is Titan’s
    son in
    Greek Mythology.
    Rukha
    d’Qudsha
    actually
    means
    “The
    Set
    Apart
    Spirit”.
    So,
    “holy”,
    “saints”
    “Sanctify”
    and “hallowed”
    should be replaced with “Set
    Apart”
in all cases, because we have the same Aramaic word in all of them,
    namely “Qadish”.

    • Emma.
I think you are wrong on that.
Hail- English for greeting of health,
      Heil-German for Salute.
Health- English from haelp (wholeness, being whole, sound or well), coming from Proto-German Hailitho. (whole, uninjured, good omen )
Helios-Greek for The Sun god who was remarkably fast and strong.
Even across cultures and languages we find Haile in Amharic ( an Ethiopian-Semitic tongue) which means Might.
Wholeness (Holiness), Health and Strength all go together.

If I am wrong , it is a fascinating coincidence, it is not ?

    • and there is this from Strong’s Concordance.
“Greek Lexicon No. 1506, we found the following: “heile (the sun’s ray)”—this
is pronounced: heilei. This form is almost identical to the German and
Dutch equivalent of the English “holy”. The meaning of “halo“,
the ring on top of a saint’s head, now became clear to us. And this was
confirmed in J.C. Cooper, An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Traditional
Symbols, p. 112, “NIMBUS, HALO, or AUREOLE: Originally indicative of solar power and the sun’s disk, hence an attribute of sun-gods.”

    • Kristin j.r.+ just about every atheist I know was at some point a ‘true christian’, as in, at the time they truly believed in the fairytale. I too was a christian for many years, and yet I have now fully rejected the notion of the jesus character. I am not denying there might have been a jew demagogue named jesus (or should that be yeshua?) who lived 2000 years ago and was responsible for creating the cult that later went on to be christianity but I reject the claim that he was the human manifestation of a deity.
      I am an unabashed apostate.
I also reject the concept of ‘sin’ and find the notion of substitutionary redemption (the foundational principle of the jesus character and christianity) an utterly immoral concept.

So you can now say “I know a person who came to the realization of who jesus is…and then rejected him”.

    • I really hope u see the truth and change. I have faith that you will. in the meantime I will keep praying for u. if my God could change Saul to Paul then he can use u too. God bless u

    • maria ola+ that’s the rub, I was a theist (christian) for many years and finally saw the truth and changed and became an atheist. I couldn’t find any real truths in the bible and could not justify my belief.

You keep praying for me and I’ll keep thinking for you…..

    • I understand that it is not a protected subject, but if the people you are talking to are respectful to your beliefs you should be respectful to theirs (i guess by this logic if the Christians are being asses the loss of respect is justified)

    • for the most part I am respectful, but that is earned not granted just ‘because’. BTW lack of belief (atheism) isn’t a ‘belief system’ like you seem to be suggesting.

  6. Hi, is there a email or number to contact you privately🙏?
My Pastor has asked me to look for content for our TV channel here in Spain and he’s interested in airing your videos.

Thank you so much for your time.

    • Marcel Szpak The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt and their ways are vile. – Psalms 53 I truly hope that there might be one day that you think on this verse and realize that your ways are wrong and come to live a life that is devoted to God and to spread his word. Have a blessed day.

    • +Jesus Will Return So, what does that mean quoting the fictional fantasy buybull bullshit? Are you just letting everyone know that you are a part of the delusional brainwashed idiot pea brain zombie moronic cult of the fictional jebus? Please clarify

    • I keep commenting because I don’t care that you don’t like this format. Don’t make unsupported assertions unless you are willing to see it through. Or keep your comments to a few lines at a time.
I am also sure now it is your way of making assertions without the need to back up those assertions.

    • +Orion I’m willing to do those things, in a google hangout lol Again you act as if I’m refusing to talk about these issues when in reality I’m not. I’m gonna stop replying. If you want to set a time and date that works for you then we can continue.

    • *I’m willing to do those things*
you have consistently proven you would not. It would be no less frustrating for me, and equally unproductive as you have a proven track record of making generalised assumptions, presuppositions, logical fallacies and assumptions on what your opponent knows and believes, no matter where the discussion took place.

Why do you even bother commenting on YouTube vids if you are unwilling to give detailed responses?
These subjects are complex, and the questions and responses have to be, in turn complex and detailed.
It is a lame cop out to try to shift the venue of the discussion as I have no interest in debating you (or any presuppositional apologist) in any chat room.

    • +Orion — My apologies on behalf of the church for the way Philip Paul has been behaving. I’ve been in a situation similar to yours where I tried to get definitive answers to my questions, but the people I was speaking with were being completely unhelpful. It’s very, very frustrating.

To answer your question about evidence for God, I think there are two main categories of evidence: 1) evidence that life as it exists today could not have arisen naturalistically, and 2) evidence of the Bible’s supernatural inspiration through fulfilled prophecy. You can find plenty of (1) through the website reasons.org, founded by Reasons to Believe. Evidence of type (2) can be found in many places online and offline. Many will be about prophecies fulfilled by Jesus, but there are also examples of prophecies fulfilled within the Old Testament, such as those related to Tyre. _Evidence that Demands a Verdict_ by Josh McDowell has a couple of pretty good chapters on this.

I can get more specific if you’d like, but I’d encourage you to check out the resources I listed. I’d be happy to discuss them.

    • +Orion know that there is no evidence with science. You say “modern science discredits the bible” but really you are just saying that you put your faith in what the scientists say is modern science is. This is world based on faith. There is no physical proof of anything. If I asked you to show me proof on what science says is true(space, planet, evolution), the only thing I will get is words from a man(scientists spitting out theories), or pictures that NASA made up(look up the term SataNASA). Put your faith in Jesus and you will truly see that what he says is true and that everything God says is true. God bless

    • Oriya Mystic
How is it a logical fallacy you moron? We dont believe in created gods, thats what the bible calls idles. If the universe had a beginning in space and time (which it did) the the cause has to be timeless and spaceless. The universe cant be eternal because if the universe created you, then what created the universe, plus the steady state theory had been debunked in the 29th century. If the universe is eternal can you provide empirical evidence that it is? Or do you believe in that because of blind faith in order to get of believinh in god

    • Oriya Mystic
What percentage of atheists make up the nobel prize winners in science? <2%
What percentage of christians, jews and muslims make up the nobel prize in science subjects? 92%

Christianity gave way to modern science, Isaac Newton, Copernicus, George Lemaitre, Gregory Mendel, Francis Bacon.... And so on. Look at atheistic communist countries in the 20th century like China and Russia, did they have major breakthru in science or was it christian countries that had major breakthru. Atheism is a detriment to science. Always has been, always will be

    • Rusty Krusty+ knowledge requires evidence to make it true, show me the evidence for gods existence. (real, credible, non anecdotal evidence that is not based on personal revelation), until then we have nothing more to talk about.

BTW calling your opponent a moron (ad hominem, another fallacy BTW) only harms your argument and does nothing to help your case, it diminishes you more than it harms me….

    • *What percentage of atheists make up the nobel prize winners in science? <2%*
"10.5% of nobel laureates were or are atheists, agnostics, or non-religious (thus, atheists would be an even smaller number, since atheists comprise a tiny percent of non-religious populations worldwide). The least, in peace prize, with 3.6 percent, and a mere 4.7 in physics."

      https://www.quora.com/What-proportion-of-nobel-prize-winners-are-atheist

post links or you just make yourself look like you are making up stats. BTW I couldn’t find your assertion of
      *<2%*

It's also about religiosity, in the general population of America atheists make up about 5%, but I am sure you will find as that percentage increases (which it is doing each year). Have a look now at the top scientific members in their fields concerning the subjects that religion covers and overwhelmingly they are atheist and/or agnostic

It's also about how pervasive religion is in our society, atheistism isn't given anywhere near the same air time or representation, again that will change over time (in the favour of atheism.

*Atheism is a detriment to science. Always has been, always will be*
that is a nonsensical statement, how can a non belief in a deity (that there is absolutely no credible evidence for) be detrimental to science? Atheism makes no claims other than the fact that they don't believe in a deity. Religion on the other hand makes lots of claims (with almost all of them not being backed up with credible evidence)

If, lets say Christianity [hard to even pick a denomination as there are an estimated 33,000 different one's] is correct, than why isn't there a 'theory of Yahweh', taught in every reputable educational across the planet?

don't like adding christian links but
      http://www.philvaz.com/apologetics/a106.htm

The answer is that Christianity is a faith based (faith, the belief in something despite not having any evidence to back up the belief) and science requires a far more stringent criteria for a hypothesis (I BELIEVE god exists) to become a theory (god DOES exist). A theory is the highest point in science, it has real evidence to back it up (and anybody gets the same result as you do when you test for it) and is peer reviewed and falsifiable.
We can only test for the natural, so tell me how do you test for the supernatural?

  7. so if god is holy, why is his creation susestible to flaws? If the holiest thing created something, shouldn’t it be holy and immune from “unholiness”? yeah, i know he’s giving freewill, but why did he create us since he SAW what was gonna happen? Is this just a game or is it inevitable? And if it is, why didn’t he stop it since he’s omnipresent? Did he create us knowing that deep down a bunch of us were gonna go to hell? Am being honest with this question

    • +MindfulAttraction.Org
While this is true, that bible speaks of the spirit returning to God and the body to the earth, the Final Judgment of mankind will change these things.

The bible makes it abundantly clear here. The idea that hell is an eternal place of torment for the lost humans, is not found anywhere.

      Revelation 20

      The Judgment of Satan
7When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore. 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God’s people, the city he loves. But fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

      The Judgment of the Dead
11Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. 12And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. 13The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what they had done. 14Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

It separates the punishment of the dead and that of Satan and his angels.

The wicked are thrown into ‘The lake of fire’ which ‘is the second death’. Not second life in hell for eternity, but death. The second death is eternal, and there is no resurrection from it. Also, take notice, Hades (the place where the wicked await judgment) is also destroyed, so there can be no confusion. The second death is an event, not a place.

Thus, after the Final Judgment God plan is complete and not only are the wicked “destroyed” (2 Thess. 2:9), but also Sin and Death. They will never exists again. We touched the fire, and got burned, but God rescued us and used the expereince to teach not only us, but all of creation, the consequences of Sin. He loves them enough to show them rather than force them into submission, which He could easily do. But that is not love.

An omniscient God has the power to destroy what he has created. If he can call matter into existence with his will, then he certainly can do the opposite.

    • +MindfulAttraction.Org
Also, keep in mind that this punishment is not from Gods choice, rather a consequence. God is Holy, and this can be a 2 edged sword. things that are impure are destroyed by his presence. This is why the Leviticus laws were in place for priests who would be in His presence. Like the Sun, which provides life and destroys what gets too close. But this proximity is replaced with impurity.

    • No, no. Mada, this is all wrong! Jesus was fully flesh, and he still is, sitting on the throne in heaven, just look all over Hebrews. Second, God clearly sends people to hell, wrath cannot disappear. Both mada and mindful it’s helpful to know this biblical truth: God is a good judge, and he can’t just forget about sin. Since the wages of sin is death, aka the eternal wrath of God, someone has to die. Someone needs to suffer that wrath. Justice must be served! That’s where Jesus comes in. He took our place, stood in front of me and took on all of God’s wrath (Isaiah 53:5-10). It is by this action of Grace alone that we can be saved. We can’t get rid of our infinite debt, but Jesus offers us eternal salvation by paying your debt for you.

In this case, God’s wrath doesn’t disappear. Someone still died, God’s wrath was satisfied, and justice was served. God’s still a good judge, and Jesus, being fully God and man, is an appropriate sacrifice takes away our condemnation in full. That is how he gets glory in the end (Isaiah 53:11-12). Love, mercy, power, justice, wrath all display themselves at the most significant point in history, Jesus’ death and resurrection, and all glory goes to God.

    • MindfulAttraction.Org We were PERFECT in the beginning, flaweless, but Eve is the one to be blamed for our state of imperfection. You can t take God unseriously. If He tells you not to do smth ,or to do smth, you have te obbey Him.This is the message of Eve s disobedience.Consequently, because of her disobediance To God,we have to suffer all of us.It doesn t seem fair,I know, but we have to know more God,in order to understand Him more. The earth was cursed because Eve s disobedience and that s why ,for ex,things we learn here in 15 years,we could learn them in 1-2 minutes in heaven! It doesn t seem right, but this is how it is.

  8. i dont know why, but why can’t jesus make us all pure, why cant he just make all us be perfect, why he needs to die for the sins we don’t own. its like where being born caring sins which i doubt its nature. even lucifer committed sins.

    • Why cant God just forgive us and not have that whole dying on a cross thing? Just poof sin away?
In addition to being all loving, God is also perfectly Just. Meaning, God cannot let evil go unpunished. He is a perfect judge. According to the bible the punishment for sin is death. A physical and spiritual death. We would have to spend eternity away from God!

But! God loves us so much. He didn’t want us to spend eternity separate from us! He didn’t want to spend eternity away from us! he sent Jesus to take that punishment we deserved! God has to punish sin. He is a Judge! So what did Jesus do? He took our sins, and took the punishment we deserved. Jesus took the punishment so we didn’t have to.

    • According to Christianity, God created the world and humans pure. God wants us to freely love others and love him! So, God gives us a free-will to choose if we want to freely do good or freely do evil. Why does he do this? God can’t force us to love him or anyone else. I guess he could but that would make us robots!
Imagine if your husband/wife told you they were being forced to love you. not good! Is that real love? Is it true love?

God told us to play nice! Love him and love others. We didn’t.

      Sin = Disobeying God.
Here’s an example. God says to love others. Let’s say I hate someone. I am sinning. To sin is to ignore God and to do what you want.

      Disobeying God results in evil.

Evil is caused by using our free-will to hate, lie, cheat, steal, murder, etc

    • ignoring God is a sin right? but you have free-will to choose. then by ignoring him you commit sins, what different does it makes with being a robot. still you force to love him or you be sin.

    • A good analogy would be , a loving parent, Do they demand their own kids have love for them in their hearts,
and do everything they say, and if not? heck fire! forever and ever? I don’t know any good parents who are like that
Upon thinking about it enuff? I switched to Hindu.

  9. Appreciating the hard work you put into your site and detailed information you offer.
It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same outdated rehashed information. Fantastic read!
I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds
    to my Google account.

  10. It’s an intense example of just how overwhelmingly powerful God’s holiness is. Other examples of God’s holiness in the Bible can be found in verses depicting the Holy of Holies, the inner room of the Israelite temple where God Himself resided.
