Can you please explain what happens with a root canal that can cause cancer? I had not heard thst one before….

Dr. Joseph Mercola D.O. He is a good knowledgeable, doctor with 500,000 people that receive his newsletter. Very open minded and does not insist that their is only one way to do things. Root canals causing disease has been known for a while. Search youtube for root canals cancer and you’ll get results.

Root canals…are previously failed attempts from your dentists 9 out of 10 times. In addition a root canal is usually an infection and the root(s) have died. All of this inside your body, I mean…of course it could contribute to cancer, it’s an open channel directly to the blood stream, organs, etc.

Oh you mean you’d want evidence… or maybe even his sources to be able to get the details of what he’s saying? That may be too much to do. I believe that if you’re going to say things that may be going against the grain it’s a good idea to have sources to point towards. If he can show some sources it would only help what he’s saying.

Been reading online about root canals and it’s completely shocking. I’ve had one done about 10 years ago and now I’m devastated.
Anything I can do about it?

Don’t let the fact that you had a root canal get to you so much. I know people that have had 7 or more root canals, and there health is fine. That said, it is still best not to get one, but that doesn’t mean one is going to get cancer from it. Root canals can also be undone, by the way.
