If he’s taking fish oil he’s not a vegan, which is fine. But it seems like he doesn’t realize that fish oil comes from fish??
So basically he’s a vegan except for the fish oil, which means he’s technically a pescitarian. I’m not sure that he realizes this. Still, I love this guy.
+Peter Kruse paul would be a vegan but he uses honey, fish oil. hes raw tho.
+Peter Kruse he is NOT a vegan.
what do you make of Pauls words..doesn’t he refere in this passage to Leviticus 11 when he says: “The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. 3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. 4 For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.” ..i’m just curious..
wow thank you, for this scripture
The scripture isn’t Leviticus 11 it is 1 Timothy 4, but good post.
+Richard Amodeo My mistake, I see now that INdiveCT stated in his post that the scripture was in reference to Leviticus 11, not that the scripture was from Leviticus 11.
Grass is not rich in calcium. Where do the cows get the calcium for their body and endless milk supply? Supplements are Satans version of food. If your diet needs supplements your diet is faulty. The “soil is depleted” argument is 100% cow crap that supplement shisters use to con people. When did all the minerals of the earth get sucked into outer space?
When? Does “industrial revolution” ring any bells?
A cow has 4 stomachs to digest n ferment the greens! Can we do that ? No we can’t !
All Fish oils are rancid… PHD = Physical Deception
Too bad he caved in on the fish oil issue and is no longer a vegan. There are good vegan EPA/DHA/Omega 3 supplements from algae out there that are certified vegan that work just as well that doesn’t kill billions of fish, there’s one made by Deva that’s very good. There are plenty of vegan food sources of omega 3, chia seeds and chia oil, hemp seeds and hemp oil if you want food sources, why doesn’t he take some of these?? Dr Caldwell Esselstyn says 1-2 tablespoons a day of chia or flax is sufficient.
God did not create animals for us to eat. It says god created fruits and herbs for us to eat. So when Paul says that food is made for us to eat its not animals. It would be same to say that God created us to sin. Well did he create Adam with sin? No but since he fell is it ok for us to sin now?
And again im not attacking you just saying as i see it.
lol i had no choice in begging cuz i had some diseases so had i had to go raw vegan over night and in 6 months healed. But when i tryed some cooked food even vegan, i felt right away like some kind of wierd anxiety was over me and i remembered that i always felt like this when i ate everything 6 months before but then i was so used to it i did not anything else.
For me i understand it this way if you give your body living food you give it intended life energy that God created. If you cook the food you might even have more nutrients there cuz you break the walls of the cell in the food from heat, but you lose the natural molecular structure and the life force in it. Look at the seed what makes it grow? If you cook the seed and plant it it wont grow. So i want that life force in me and thats why i eat vegan food uncooked.
lol. I see 2 reasons that people like to eat all these foods. Basically they are addicted to them and its done purpose by the companies that sell them. They put drugs in the food, and people feel high from the food they eat and for a moment their life hardships fade away, and when you stop eating those foods you get withdraws like from a drug, then have to face your problems in life and deal with them and not bury them down with food. 2nd reason is cuz its hard to find quality fruits now days in alot of parts of the world. The fruit is picked unripe, it is not given all the minerals when it grows, its sprayed with chemicals, its irradiated so it never ripens fully, and some of it is gmo already.
+alex pukay yes like cigarettes, processed food is full of addictive additives and hard to give up. it is amazing the new flavours I have discovered since giving up processed food. I eat raw food as much as I can.:-)
I find it interesting that we cannot eat grass. Animals eat grass and hay. So why can we not eat what animals eat, in general? I know we don’t have 4 stomachs like other ruminants to digest this, but this leads me to believe that since we do not have 4 stomachs, maybe we shouldn’t eat like them. This is confusing to me.
Of course we shouldn’t eat like them, every specie is different and should eat differently, infact every person is different and should eat differently, this is why its important not to accept any dogma, but try out what works for you
I have plenty of vegan and raw vegan days, and I feel cleansed when I do that, but this whole issue of deficiencies adds to my confusion. Also, you talk about the Garden and after the Flood, but what about the Feasts the Lord’s people have that include lamb? Again, this adds to my confusion.
This chap tries to use contrapositive statements to say that we can get protein from grass just as cows do, he is a poor scientist, and fundamentally misunderstands the way the digestive systems of humans and cows are very different.
A short explanation is that digestion is a combination of the form of the gut (in the case of cows, very long) and the bacteria hosted within it (in the case of cows with hugely different to that of humans) This combination cows have allows them to digest cellulose from grass in such a way that they can extract protein (amongst other things they need) by CONTINUOUSLY GRAZING, we humans on the other hand can get by with set meals, all the better with protein. If you follow a truly reductionist path and believe earth provides everything, why stop there, you should actually conclude that we should all be solar powered since the source of all nutrients and energy on Earth is ultimately derived from the Sun and stars, why the extra step(s)?
So, he says by eating cows that you’re getting second hand greens. Yet, he consumes fish oil for omega 3’s. How about he stops being a hypocrite and gets his omega 3’s where the fish get it…through algae!
Fish oil is not healthy do not be deceived. You can eat flaxseed and walnuts instead. There are good vegan sources of omega 3. The body converts omega 3 to other essentials. You don’t need the fish. Bible also says animal fat is not to be eaten.
Chia seeds are also an awesome source of omega 3 and fiber
It seems to work well for the Okinawans. They eat fish, white rice, sweet potaoes, vegetable. They have no knowledge of Biblical history yet have one of the longest lifespans in the world.
Do we know if without the fish they wouldn’t live even longer? Just because they live longest, doesn’t mean their diet is the ideal diet!
Thanks for the video and the information
Fish oil for health is a myth. Just because fish oil can help produce important nutrients for the human brain doesn’t mean it is the only way to get such nutrients. Fresh ground flax seed is far better and it won’t have the heavy metal contamination. All oils are unhealthy and should be limited.
I don’t think eating eat is inalienably bad its just people don’t fast and clean there body with fruit you give them a a little bit they take the whole thing and get lost is pleasures
lol… I’ve heard that vegan fart doesn’t smell… and I agree… i can tell you … lol
I may die from lack of nutrients but I will not consume the blood of another soul!
no oils
I like his humility and willingness to learn and change over time
