From the passing flower that awakened early before spring to the tears of a broken heart, we must find joy in our circumstances and we must thank Him for all seasons. Joy in Yahweh is my strength, and I am in love with the Elohim! Yeshua, oh Yeshua I love You for the Man and Elohim You are! I am devoted and may you teach me the true meaning of a joyful spirit. Not to split hairs, this is good preaching, but set apart is NOT the same as holy. Holy is cleanness and keeping something in a state of protection from any defilement. You can set apart male gay porno from lesbian porno. Then lesbian porno is “set apart” from male porno. Yet neither is holy. Both unclean. In jail, violent criminals are set apart from pedophiles. Both unclean. Infantry is set apart from artillery is set apart from armor. You get the idea.

@jessecavalieri no. If you set apart your fish from your beef then it is ‘set apart’. If your marijuana is ‘set apart’ from your regular prescription drugs it is set apart. Holy or kadosh is when something is separated from other things because of its elevated and precious status. For instance, the lamb you kill and cook and eat at home for a meal is not as high a quality as the kadosh lamb you bring to Pesach to sacrifice to YHWH as a memorial sacrifice. The Pesach lamb has to meet quality specifications and be offered and maintained in a way that your home cooked lamb doesn’t. So, at some point someone introduced’set apart’ in place of holy or kadosh. I wouldn’t stomp someone for it but it definitely doesn’t mean set apart. I set my .22 ammunition from my 9mm ammunition. But I have not made them holy by offering them to YHWH in either case. It’s like that essentially.
