Its funny how you can read/realize/revelation a verse you may have read many times before!!! HalleluYah!
I PRAISE ELOAH for Brother Paul
שלום
Good Good reading and teaching my Brother may you be blessed today and your family as well. I really love the explanation about the burning bush so much power here amen
“I am” in French is Je suis which is very similar to Jesus.
👀 wow
“Similar”? Not really…
Je suis sounds like ʒe swee
Jesus sounds like ʒezoo
So how are you saying to pray then?
So I think Im.just going to call HIM Father cause all these names are just too much! But the thought behind YHWH is that GOD breathed the breathe of life into Adam so it is pronounced similar to one breathing! But I will default to Heavenly Father!
If all the different pronunciations get too overwhelming, and you feel you need further study before deciding, simply use the abbreviated form that appears multiple times in the Hebrew Texts and even in English Bibles. The Name YAH:
“Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, BY HIS NAME YAH, And exult before Him.” (Psalm 68:4)
@Defender Of Truth Praise Yah! I have been saying Yahweh for the last twenty five years and all the sudden there are all these other names! He does say MY Sheep know MY voice and another they wont answer! But I Thank you for the encouragement I needed that!!!!! Yah Bless and Keep you!
I think if we approach Father as a little child he is very understanding and will reveal what he wants us to know when HE wants us to know it! Shalom!
Brother Paul, at 45:42 you say “the Tetragrammton in Hebrew has no vowels” yet Josephus wrote in the early first century: “His head was covered by a tiara of fine linen, wreathed with blue, encircling which was another crown, of gold, whereon were emblazoned the sacred letters, to wit, FOUR VOWELS (φωνήεητα τέσσαρα)”
The yod, hay, waw, hay are ALL vowels which is why the Name can be spoken in ANY language because all languages share the same vowels – a, e, i, o, u, and could be spelled IAUE (ee-ah-ooh-eh)
ALL the ancients transliterated the Name in their respective languages as Yahweh without exeption:
Ἰαουέ in Greek, IOVE (pronounced Yohweh) in Latin and Jahveh (pronounced Yahweh) in early German and the African and Native Americans have a strong oral tradition singing “Yahweh” in many songs and chants.
Thank you.
Brother Paul, can you please clarify what you mean by the pre-existence? The first thought that comes to my mind is that Elohim refers to YHVH and His Son, so Elohim has always existed as both. This is my present, yet amenable, view on the subject.
