I didn’t realize that wine was only drunk on special occassions. I’m not against alcoholic beverages for health-conscious, saved believers, but perhaps, in keeping with traditional ancestral practice it should not be a regular part of diet.
Also, I’d like to understand how the act of giving a blessing or curse works. Is the Holy Spirit taking over a person’s mouth or is the Holy Spirit inspiring a person with what to say? Or do people do it by their own volition, and somehow their pronouncement has efficacious power?
