14 thoughts on “Grace vs Law or Grace and Law?

  1. GAL5:14
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

do you agree with the above passage or is this a lie?

    • @EverlastingGospelREV14:6-12 I see what you are saying. However with further context in the surrounding passages we can understand the context he was conveying.

Paul was very likely teaching from the same source doctrinal material in the Torah. Leviticus 19:18. He was also speaking on the behavior of believers toward each other whereas Jesus was explaining the totality of the Law and prophets because he was asked which is the greatest commandment.

      Galatians 5:13-14
13   For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14   For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

    • @Pete V. but it is not….Pete…all the law is not fulfilled in one word…..and you know this…. in his contex…….he created “saved by grace or grace you are saved” and that is a LIE…………..by repenting to YHWH and faith in Yahusha you are converted…..it is up to the person to walk out to the end…bringing forth FRUIT and guarding the commandments and following the LAMB………..Father will judge us all by are works…..REV20:12-13………you can’t say you won a race before the end of the race..it’s a lie of the EVIL one…..they walk around saying”i’m saved” and GO SIN……….not living a repented life…..and overcoming transgression of the law……..REV2:2…….saul is a LIAR and does not pass the DEUT13 test

    • @EverlastingGospelREV14:6-12 Yeah you’re reading too much into it. Be careful not to be dogmatic and end up losing so much. Do a concordance search for “love God” in the Pauline epistles.

He was definitely an advocate for loving God. Lol. To fail the Deuteronomy 13 test he would have to be radically adding or removing commandments from the Torah which he didn’t.

You can’t say he didn’t advocate or removed loving God because of a verse where he was likely referencing the Torah in the light of how God wants us to treat each other, because we have the rest of his epistles to expound on his position doctrinally.

    • @EverlastingGospelREV14:6-12 you can also see in your bible the cross reference that Yeshua quote Deuteronome 6:5 for the first commandement 🙂 shalom

  2. I used to BE a Grace only Christian I was SO LOST in grace only, until my roommate prayed that I would see the TRUTH! NOW I CAN SEE .. the torah and mitzvahs changed my life. I found TRUTH!!

  3. The level of cognitive dissonance it takes not to be able to see though Paul’s obvious and absurd nonsense is absolutely astounding to consider.

    • Then why are you even on here if you don’t agree with his teaching of truth may I ask? Yes, and insulting somebody is really a messiah thing to do right? SMH

  4. When I was a young fella growing up, we read the Bible every day in our house after dinner and even though there was some odd doctrinal beliefs, it was SO clear from the Scriptures that obedience to the Law is a natural result of repentance!
When I first heard the term “works salvation” I was taken aback and could not comprehend the reasoning.
By the time I reached my late teens and heard the phrase “once saved, always saved,” I was literally stunned that anyone would even suggest such an unbiblical proposition!
You covered this topic so well, Paul, and rather than cherry-picking Texts like some, you covered all the bases making the instructions super clear.
