Don’t know if you’ll read this comment …. but …. I’ve heard it said that in scripture when Yahshua said the Pharisees made the blue string longer and rebuked them for it ….. so cut them even …….
I agree ……….. sorry if it took awhile for me to answer ….. I didn’t notice the comment
+The Health Watchman In my opinion shouldn’t it be fully blue
+The Health Watchman why do people add white
Austin Thompson it doesn’t say the tassels must be white, it just says there should be one strand of blue in it… so technically, you could probably make them any other color as long as there is the strand of blue.
Numbers 15:37-40 New King James Version (NKJV)
Tassels on Garments
37 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 38 “Speak to the children of Israel: Tell them to make tassels on the corners of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue thread in the tassels of the corners. 39 And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, 40 and that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy for your God.
+Torah Life Ministries Owing to your lack of historical knowledge on the subject matter you have confused the prevalent Rabbinic position with what the Pharisees believed. The Pharisees, like all Jews of the time, had Tekhelt in their Ṣiṣiyot; the Rabbinic ruling instructing to wear all-white Ṣiṣiyot was not issued prior to AD 640.
what material is used for this?
u can buy directly to the judaica store. remember, in halacha, kosher strings are always spun with intention (u can see in shulchan aruch). but i stringent myself to use the nipputz lishma ones to put in my woolen garment because maharal’s reasoning, rema’s noting and shulchan aruch agrees w/ that.
If you are actually Jewish, why do you think all these details matter to a Christian? And if you have not converted to Judaism, why does all that matter to you?
I believe in the bible. I believe in Israel and this is for Israel.
How much do you charge for them?
Awesome! Thank you Katelin! Yahuwah bless you!
Just made my very first Tzizit all by my self, awesome!! Praise Yahuah!
will she make mine for me. can u find out thanks.
The blue string being left longer symbolizes our longing for His return, as I understand it. JS
Thank you so much!!
Beautiful. I love seeing young ppl honor FATHER YHWH.
I’ve heard the blue was kept longer because it reminds us of our longing for Yeshua.
zviJ1 why do you think the New Testament is nutty? It is a continuation of the Old Testament…the Messiah fulfilled all the phophecies about Him in the Old Testament ..
Have you read the New Testament? What Christians practice today is based off the false religion Catholicism….nothing to do with the Faith once delivered to the Saints…
For your own good you should start reading http://faithstrengthened.karaitejudaism.org/FS_TOC.html . I already know that even pre-Pauline Christianity is not what YHWH and the Torah intended; sorry to break it to you that Yeshu`a (or whichever other name you employ for him) did not fulfill even a single thing the righteous Davidic scion is supposed to accomplish to be considered the Davidic Messiah.
It is time for you to come down to the ground of reality and part with your pro-Yeshu`a indoctrination, unless you are in your early adolescence or younger.
Tudah Rbah. HaMashiahh will return at HR M GDD, to save YSHRAL/Israel, at the appointed time. Halaluyah.
So much hate in the comments on this video from so many who claim they are the true followers of God. It is very sad. God loves all of us. No human has the right to tell you otherwise. Follow the Father the way he has placed in your heart and worry not about the ones who are so mean spirited.
I bought the threads and now I am beginning to make my first Tzitzit…
I’m guessing
I’m new and learning. Would love to see how they are worn on the clothes.
the blue thread was dyed from a certain shell that was a certain color and since those shells can not be found they wear them all white
that’s funny I thought the knots came from the numbers of laws I know ashkenazi jews tie them diffrent from sephardi jews theirs look like DNA where sephardi jews only have one line same number of knots tho
I think you should learn more about the tzitzit don’t wear that in israel
