The apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus that there are some behaviors that should not even be named among the believer in Messiah Yeshua, part of which is what comes out of the mouth, from the abundance of the heart. Included in this is what he called foolish talking and coarse jesting. Rabbi Steve Berkson gives wonderful insight on these two things, teaching us that what comes out of our mouths is important as we identify ourselves as believers.
