Some say that if a person wants to live according to the Word of YHVH, Torah observant, he/she doesn't understand the purpose Yeshua was crucified; that he/she is mocking Yeshua Messiah's death and resurrection. Is this true?

  1. The reason I generally hear against following the law, is that it is relying on works and not grace for salvation. How would you explain this to someone with a mainstream Christian thought process?

    • I don’t want to be mistaken for speaking for Steve Berkson, but what I have learned from his teachings is that keeping the commandments is a result of an obedient heart and that grace is merited favor. In other words you are not offered grace for doing nothing, or worse yet , breaking the commandments. If that helps.

  2. I have thought this for years! and everyone said no no, that’s wrong…I’m glad to know I’m not the only one who understands the scriptures like that!
