  1. Hi Paul As the old adage goes you are what you eat. I can never eat dead carcass even if it will prolong my life to few years. I don’t mind eating raw organic milk but never dead animals. Other disciplines like daylight diet and eating less can give us good health also.

  2. Why do people say that about raw vegans? lack b-12 you need blood work…..
How about when you eat like the standard american diet ,
you need blood work weekly in my view

  3. THANKS for trusting the space and sharing. I appreciate how you share your own experience as you evolve. and not stay stuck in a paradigm in order to just make cash (MANY do this!!) Well spoken.

  4. Not really , she ate a very clean raw vegan diet…
but compared to the SAD diet you could say that she restricted her calories but that wasn’t the main aim.

  5. haha whole paycheck. good one. and the end when dr. bass said “brooklyns in the house” that was funny too. yeah i learned raw vegan isnt a perfect diet. i eat mostly raw veggies and raw fish and also small amounts of seeds and fruits and certain nuts. that diet works for me. everyone needs something different though. good video

  6. Remember that many of the current “raw vegans” had the privilege of being raised on animal foods in their early years contributing to their base of health.

How many of the current older vegans were reared on high quality and nutrient dense animal foods (raw milk, grass-fed meats and eggs from pasture-raised animals)?

  7. It wasn’t a privilege. If that meat gave me a base of health, I wouldn’t have gravitated to vegetarian – vegan – raw vegan – to fruitarian.

Now I don’t get sick, don’t smell, and don’t have headaches that I had during my meat years.

I fixed tinnitus, and a damaged eye

  8. It’s true that most raw vegans eat wrong(nuts, dehydrated food). But in and of itself, there’s nothing wrong with raw-vegan. If the issue is poor quality fruit and veg, then think about
what factory-animals eat. IDK, but probably little veg at all….mostly grain, and the same poor quality.
Bass mentioned 15 good diets until you get to the ultimate. Then Bass Hasn’t gotten to the best because 4 months ago he said he changed his diet. (btw, he went in the wrong direction)

    cont ….

  9. I agree with what you said about being able to survive winters on a raw food vegan diet (I’m in Montreal, further north than NY) but don’t understand why you also said you couldn’t without resorting to heavy use of nuts and seeds. While not as fun as the mangos and watermelon in the summers, there’s still a lot to choose from during winter months up here.
I also don’t agree that it’s ‘inevitable’ that all will at one point have to choose between raw junk food and steamed veggies. 8-1-1ers don’t.

  10. From what I’ve come across, there tends to be research which suggests that the restricted calorie approach may produce superior longevity and health due to it’s resultant lower dietary fat intake, and that higher calorie diets (as long as the calories are being used through regular vigorous exercise) would produce similar results as long as the fat intake is low as well – “low” meaning under 10% of calories. Low protein is a positive factor as well.

  11. Oddly enough, Dr. Doug Graham, of whom I’m sure you’re familiar, has been on both the board of directors of the American Natural Hygiene Society and the board of governors of the International Association of Professional Natural Hygienists and very adamantly stresses the importance of greens in conjunction with the majority of calories from fruit. I personally agree with the importance of greens and see no significant issue with the nutrient value of current day organically grown fruit.

  12. “Privilege” of being raised on animal foods? “Base of health”?
A good number of autopsied teens who were “privileged” to be raised on animal products showed signs of beginning to moderate atherosclerosis.

  13. Thank you for the time and effort you are putting into this. I just discovered Dr. Bass’s video 2 days ago and already it’s changed my life. Thanks for the part you are playing in making that happen.

  14. Dr. Bass said he really is a faster. Out of a sample of 1, he is 91 has has a really sharp mind. It seems fasting is the key not food.

  15. What a totally balanced view on this diet. I have always told Arnold at Arnolds way cafe in Lansdale, PA, that this should really be called a raw food fast. You can stay on it for a few months or years. get healthy and then start eating more variety etc… Thanks paul!!!
