Is Eating Meat Okay In The Bible?

Someone is asking me about meat in the Bible and is it okay to consume. Please post any questions you have about the Bible below.

  1. Leviticus Chapter 11 is about the Food we can and cannot eat. Lev 11:46-47 KJV “This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:” 47 “To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.” Amen. The food affects the brain and mood of the person, health, and influences of decision making. The Frontal lobe can be altered with unclean food and unhealthy food can cause animalistic tendencies which provokes intemperate behavior.

  2. This man is teaching the TRUTH. In the beginning the purpose of YHWH was: eat fruits and vegetables. Even to the animals! Genesis 1:29-30

    • Mr S Mark 7:15-20King James Version (KJV)

15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

      18 And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

  3. I’m glad you said our Creator said so… truly the only clean meat is fruit and nuts. We are created herbivores so this is the best healthy food. Clean, raw fresh food! Shalom

  4. Didn’t the angels of God feed JESUS CHRIST meat after 40 days of fasting. Didn’t JESUS CHRIST when he raised Lazarus from the grave say to give him meat.

  5. Romans 14:1-23
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

  6. With today’s filthy meat industry, it’s better for me to just stay on a Daniel fast most of the time. Organic whole grains, beans, nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables, etc. It makes me feel better anyway.

  7. I don’t mean to rain on your parade BUT any approving reference to kosher food is a BIG mistake. Kosher is a Rabbinical construct enshrined in the Talmud which openly contradicts the Torah and is in fact nothing more than the continuation of the Pharisaical system of religion that the Messiah so roundly condemned. Eat kosher at your own risk…

    • Shall not kill people… unless your life is in danger. If you can kill to save your life then kill away. Shall not kill animals for sport. If you’re gonna eat it then kill away

    • Killing is not the same as murder.
Fornication is not the same as adultery.
Drinking is not the same as alcoholism.
A kind lie is not the same as sending someone to jail on false charges.
      Be careful of conflation.

    • Thou shalt not murder. If you say kill instead of murder then you suggest that the law enfprces pascifism. And Jesus is definitely no pascifist. Revelations mentions quite a battle and the old testament is full of battles.

  8. Oh my word! You are echoing what God told me 3 years ago. I have been healed from chronic Arthritis after God spoke to me about EXACTLY these things!!!!!!!!!!
