Isaiah 4
1 In that day so few men will be left that seven women will fight for each man, saying, “Let us all marry you! We will provide our own food and clothing. Only let us take your name so we won’t be mocked as old maids.”

A Promise of Restoration
2 But in that day, the branch[a] of the Lord
will be beautiful and glorious;
the fruit of the land will be the pride and glory
of all who survive in Israel.
3 All who remain in Zion
will be a holy people—
those who survive the destruction of Jerusalem
and are recorded among the living.
4 The Lord will wash the filth from beautiful Zion[b]
and cleanse Jerusalem of its bloodstains
with the hot breath of fiery judgment.
5 Then the Lord will provide shade for Mount Zion
and all who assemble there.
He will provide a canopy of cloud during the day
and smoke and flaming fire at night,
covering the glorious land.
6 It will be a shelter from daytime heat
and a hiding place from storms and rain.

Footnotes:
4:2 Or the Branch.
4:4 Or from the women of Zion; Hebrew reads from the daughters of Zion.

  1. Pray for those who think its “okay to move the worship of Sabbath to a different day. I used to be one of those programed people myself. They drill it into your head over years that “jesus” (Yeshua in Truth) gave them some sort of free pass on following Yah’s Law. If you question it, you usually get a half answer or a quote from the apostle Paul’s writings.
It is very clear in Matthew…Yeshua stated that he did not come to abolish the law of the Torah, but to restore it. YHWH commands us to keep Sabbath on the 7th day and not to change anything he commands for all of the ages. Yeshua would not have changed a command or released anything his Heavenly Father told us to do. Many Jews will not come to know or accept Yeshua over this very deception… they can’t accept Yeshua as the Messiah because of the way the christians are teaching it today…to disregard Torah. Jews are taught to not listen to people who say the Torah Law doesn’t apply anymore and to stay away from those who preach such teachings and that they are false prophets. When I was in a former church ministry, I always thought it was odd that a servant of Yah, our Messiah sent by Yahweh, would “alter” or trump what Yah had already instructed us to do…but that indeed is what they teach today in christianity and thus raise “jesus” to the level of a false god in doing so. Yeshua, many times when others where trying to glorify him for his works stated that the glory goes to the Father who gave him the power to do everything. Pastors, Preachers, and Priests alike are misleading multitudes through this misbelief. They use the writings of Paul and mis-translations of Word to support disregard of the Torah and altering the Sabbath day. Believers who do not truly study the Word (all of the Bible) merely believe what they have been told generationally and follow like lost sheep. It’s a form of spiritual laziness but what you are actually doing is giving your life over to the false doctrines of the church/man. Yeshua honored the Sabbath on the 7th day. It’s that simple. He never said “I am going to “rise on a Sun-day” and you are to move the Sabbath to Sun-day. Man took it upon himself to misinform and alter teachings. This has a generational affect and is malignant among families. The sad part is that when you question the “mininsters of christ”, most actually try to make it as if you do not understand what the Word “meant” to say when our Savior was nailed to the tree or stake. I was also told that the Torah was “old testament” and only pertained to the Jews (They didn’t know I am of Jewish descent-ha). It clearly states otherwise in Torah. Christains get circular answers for direct straight-forward questions with a random scriptures thrown in as an answer
. ( I think they call that “lawyer talk”. lol) Praise YHWH for His Word! Have a blessed day sisters/brothers…:)

    • Shalom sister Barb! I appreciate what you wrote. Would it be okay with you if I share it in an email to an old “acquaintance” who is harassing me about our decision to follow Torah? Pamela McKenzie

  2. Shalom, brother Paul. You are such an encouragement. Don’t be discouraged because those who actually argue with you will be the very ones whom the Spirit will draw if they are drawn by the Father. It just takes Truth to be proclaimed, so in lovingkindness, keep spreading Truth!!! I am so grateful to many who spoke it to me and through them, Father opened my eyes. halleluYAH! Pray, praise, proclaim, read, repent, and submit…. Amein! In this short chapter, I see a lot of reference to Mt. Sinai language with fire/cloud as well as the El Shaddai, I think, the wings or covering of the Almighty. Then also in reference to verse 2, it took me to Jeremiah then to Zechariah 14, where it speaks many times regarding the nations coming up to worship the KIng/Lord of Righteousness at the Feast of Tabernacles! Is this chapter then referring to the Kingdom of the Messiah?

  3. Shalom Shalom brother Paul! Thank you for sharing so much! We are looking forward to every day Bible readings and the Friday Fellowship too! Pray, praise, proclaim, read, repent, rejoice & submit! HalleluYAH!!!
