Isaiah 51
A Call to Trust the Lord
1 “Listen to me, all who hope for deliverance—
all who seek the Lord!
Consider the rock from which you were cut,
the quarry from which you were mined.
2 Yes, think about Abraham, your ancestor,
and Sarah, who gave birth to your nation.
Abraham was only one man when I called him.
But when I blessed him, he became a great nation.”
3 The Lord will comfort Israel[a] again
and have pity on her ruins.
Her desert will blossom like Eden,
her barren wilderness like the garden of the Lord.
Joy and gladness will be found there.
Songs of thanksgiving will fill the air.
4 “Listen to me, my people.
Hear me, Israel,
for my law will be proclaimed,
and my justice will become a light to the nations.
5 My mercy and justice are coming soon.
My salvation is on the way.
My strong arm will bring justice to the nations.
All distant lands will look to me
and wait in hope for my powerful arm.
6 Look up to the skies above,
and gaze down on the earth below.
For the skies will disappear like smoke,
and the earth will wear out like a piece of clothing.
The people of the earth will die like flies,
but my salvation lasts forever.
My righteous rule will never end!
7 “Listen to me, you who know right from wrong,
you who cherish my law in your hearts.
Do not be afraid of people’s scorn,
nor fear their insults.
Shalome.
Do you have a video on how you know yeshua to be the correct name?
Yahshua in Hebrew means I AM Salvation. The e in Hebrew makes a sound like the e in sent, yet John 5:43 says he came in His Father’s Name, Yahuah, a word found in Gen 3:14. I don’t think he studies the language as much as he does the Word although it’s not worth arguing over because our Savior will have a new name after His long-suffering is over, when He comes for His bride. Just know Iesous from the 1611 Bible is like a yeshwoah, the S makes it masculine yet Jesus is more like yezeus which means hail Zeus and we don’t worship false gods
The English J wasn’t invented until the early 1800s. Which is why it bugs me when Anyone says the name of Jesus is beautiful and claim it to be the name spoken 2000 yrs ago.
Their language is so interesting. The word adon means lord, but in my TLV and other Jewish translations, Adonai is used, which is plural (Trinity) and Elohim is plural for my God, which is a reference to the Godhead 3in1. Eloheinu is a shared word for our God. God isn’t a name, it’s a title so when you’re reading your Bibles, replace God, when appropriate, and replace it with the Lord my God or the Lord our God, or just plain the Lord. Lord means master and we serve only One. Hallel means praise and HalleluYah means praise be to Yah, the Great I AM
+Joseph Jones I think it is Yahshua or Yahushua as well.
Shalom, Paul. We are Israel!!!
And could you point me in the right direction of getting the correct bible.
Thank you Paul, I have been seeing new things within this book. Now having my own Hebrew idioms books, your GMLamsa and a couple others, have definitely added to the riddle solving because so many pictures can be painted and these narrow it because the language never died and you can learn a lot about a people from their language
Shalom 💗
Shalom brothers and sisters! Blessed day! Hallelujah Hallelujah to yet another powerful reading. Bless you brother Paul- thank you always. Praise Yeshua ❤️
Shalom, not ALL Christians disregard the Torah. You have to be a disciple of Christ (Yeshua) to be considered a true Christian. Disciple=Christian=Saved 2Timothy 3:16
Brother, is all well?
You didn’t sound as fluid while reading the TORAH, this morning.
I do pray all things be SHALOM.
Please do not categorize all Christians in not following Torah. 2Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is God breathe and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. There are Christians who obey the Word of God.
Your spiritual vigilance is inspiring brother Paul. I think we will have to get you some new highlighters soon..lol.
“For I AM your God… have no fear, I will help you.” IS. 41:13. HalleluYAH!
Halellu’YAH … Shalom … Ahmein
