"He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal." John 12:25
We have to deny ourselves and reject what we want to instead be filled with love for the Lord. How many times are we tempted to watch things on TV that do not bring glory to God? When we refuse to watch something we know would dishonor Him, we are "losing our life" for Him! Be encouraged to stop yielding to the lust of the flesh, and swim up stream, fighting for holiness in your life. Pick up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Him. Hang on to Jesus and keep fighting!

Thanks for the on time exhortation. Glory to GOD.
God Bless you Rabbi! This i message is a good reminder for me. I do appreciate you , Peace…..Love…..Joy…….
I still think this goes deeper than just not sinning and doing good stuff instead.
No. The will of God for one’s life is our sanctification. That you abstain from sexual immorality. 1 Thessalonians 4. This is also part of the grace that the Father has shown us when he sent Christ to die this symbolized the killing of our sinful nature [Romans 6].As Christ is raised from the dead in a new spiritual body we too are raised from the dead [of our sins and transgressions; Ephesians] in newness of life.Christ from the dead for our justification

Sanctification is like washing dishes: you take a dirty dish, wash it, dry it, and set it apart.
But all of that is done for a purpose, preparing it to hold something of value.
Sanctification isn’t the end of the work, it is the beginning of it.
Yes brother, it is the beginning and the end. As it is written “Whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son….” The purpose here is to be more and more like His Son. Whom now lives in us. We are being perfected brother that is the point of our lives.
obey the Spirit is not the same as obey the law. the Spirit might send u into the world to work a field and in another season take u out. Moses didn’t obey the Spirit when he struck the rock, because thats what worked b-4.
Galatians 5:16-23. Obeying the Spirit naturally fulfills the law, hence why we are no longer under the law. There is no law against the good works of the Spirit. Also, 1 Timothy proclaims that that the Law was not made for a righteous man but for the ungodly and sinner. We are no longer carnal hated by God but spiritual and we now please the Father by walking in the Spirit and not the Flesh [sinful nature].
Thank you Rabbi. As always you bring encouragement to my soul.
