    • David Brown Amen! I could read a book for 10 years straight and not actually understand some of these connections and the depth these men go into. I’m understanding the Bible at whole new level from these guys! God bless you guys who put the effort into these videos to help people like me who can’t comprehend the Bible to this deeper level! Thank you!

  1. why was Solomon allowed to have so many wives and do so much stuff like witchcraft and orgies and drunkeness and was he considered righteous?

    • Chris Johnson I believe he wrote Proverbs during his early days. When I read the stuff about him doing witchcraft and junk (I forgot which book) it had said that he strayed away from God.

    • Chris Johnson I think the notion that an author in the bible is automatically a saint is falacious. It is my personal belief (and I’ve heard it echoed from other teachers) that Solomon probably died unrighteous and is in hell (they don’t have the security of salvation sealed with the Holy Spirit like we do today)
and that a pagan Babylonian king Nebuccadnezzer who went mad and surely had idols and such was declared righteous and was rescued by Jesus from paradise and is in Glory now.

I think even if Solomon made it – it’s something to dwell upon. God’s Holy Spirit would come upon people and leave them back then but now we are sealed by the HS.

I’m rambling. Solomon asked for wisdom and got it – and yet squandered it by his own selfish desires

  2. I ❤️ reading proverbs.. 📖 proverbs makes me 💪🏾. It’s a blessing to my life & it make me a better person 👩🏾‍💻 everyday.
