When is the New Moon? When we observe the new moon or the astronomy new moon?
Colossians 2:16 “Let no man judge you in meat or drink, or in respect of a holy day, new moon, or sabbath which are a shadow of things in to come.”

Scott Jenkins, yes this is mentioned in the scriptures, in numerous places, 2 Chronicles 31:3, Hosea 2:11, Amos 8:5, especially Numbers 10:10, and many others. We are to celebrate the New Months, (moons).
