Man if you do your research you will see the Wah and the vav are something left to personal preference and no one rly knows… I’ve done a lottt of research and truly it could be one or the other.. I’m on the Yahweh train my self..

Thank you Sir for your honesty… It’s hard when your xwife is of the world…I am sorry your child has to be under your xwife authority. Too bad your xwife has not read the scriptures, it’s biblical the daughter is your possession as the father… Authority is: The Most High, Yahshua, Father, Mother, Child. I pray your xwife reads the scriptures and obeys The Most High and keeps his commandments. These women are so out of order today and want to rule over the man… woman you are made for the man, not man made for the woman. Woman your a helpmeet to a husband if you have one. If you don’t you should be cover/under the authority of your father. Men and women don’t KNOW their purpose in life. Men your purpose is to be king of your home, and priest of your home, and keep Yahs commandments. Women your purpose is to helpmeet, servant, to your father and if you get married your purpose is to be a helpmeet, servant to your husband as he carry’s out his purpose of being king and priest of The Most High in HIS home…. Woman stop being wicked and get under proper authority and carry out Yahs role that he has created from the Genesis. Little girls should cover up and dress modest I think they need to wear nice dresses and skirts with modest t shirts. I see a lot of little girls with very short shorts and the bum hanging out, it’s not ok. I am a single parent of 3 boys and I also teach them to dress modest. I think just buy them cloths and explain to them also. Maybe let them choose some what but I think children need structure teaching and they long for parents that will set the standards. The children that I see who dress inappropriate the parents are not too involved and are worldly. I think teaching children to value modesty and set an example is a major factor.
Rahel T Rocca I agree! There is too much perversion in this world and certain men look at young girls inappropriately. It’s dangerous for these young girls to dress in a provocative way, attracting negative attention from those types of men. It’s a dangerous world these days.
Last weekend when I was working all I seen was little girls in oversized sweaters with little shorts on you couldn’t even see the shorts so it looked like they had nothing on the bottom half. My ex husband thinks that God is a god of love and all religions worship the same god. He also thinks that if he is a good person he will go to heaven. He believes that Jesus had a wife and children, he believes that it’s my opinion about what I believe in and everyone has a right to their own opinion and I had some words with him last week it was so frustrating. Need help with that too. What do you say to ppl who think that it’s my opinion and what I believe in is just my opinion. I am sad to say that I am not on the same page with my ex and it would be nice to have someone who is on the same page as me but I don’t think that will happen. I accept it.

Yeah it is more then modesty and something deeper, for one it doesn’t tempt others or set a example towards it, and two it negates the dogs from licking there teeth as they list after the women.

It’s not easy even with boys. My son (19)still lives with me and I gently remind him of keeping the Sabbath, reading his Bible, praying and repenting. I ask Yah to put the words in my mouth to minister to my husband and son daily. I take the Shema and commandments seriously. My order is broken as well because my husband is not under Yah. I am faithful knowing Yah will heal my family and restore the order. Praise Yah 🙌
This is the whole reason why i don’t want to have kids with my wife. Its almost impossible not to have the world separate family.
We should teach our children modesty and many other things as well but keeping in mind which is hard sometimes for parents with younger children that they will ultimately be older and make all their own decisions all we can do is guide them and give them the right input ultimately they have their own free will and will make their own decisions

Dressing modestly means not wearing expensive bank breaking clothing and not over excessing in jewelry, it does not mean not wearing tight fitting clothes or showing flesh!!!
Teach your children modesty in stages. We start with teaching them about modesty in the form of not spending money for labels but buying second hand. Our daughters wear ultra girls tutus and headbands and stuff that is “statements” of course. They are very “girly” and want to show that. Based in where we live in like Yas girls you are a girl wear what you think speaks that. Lol. But as they grow we’ll talk about literal covering of biblical nakedness for puberty ages etc. Hopefully they will learn from me as their mother. But gosh to not have that example it would be totally on the other parent to say hey this is the truth and you will learn one way or another that Yah’s way is best. No need for force (in my humble opinion). Being a young woman today goodness I swear has to be even harder than when I was a young girl. Modesty is about making a choice to reveal inner dignity, inner desire for privacy, inner desire to speak through your clothing that you are in fact a person with boundaries. Teach them to cultivate clothing choices based on what message they want to send and what Yah has stated. Def not a free for all (ain’t nooooo body walking outa here in fishnets and booty skirt and crop tops) but if they wanna wear jeans and not cover their bums then hey I’m gonna pray for Yah’s convicting in the hearts of my children. Ask Yah to turn the hearts of your children. Boys and girls of course. Wonderful message.
As an apendix (lol): one thing my parents (who were secular but moral) did was print out lyrics to current sings and sings from their time. Made us read them aloud in front of them. They found songs that talked about women both the ones with sweeter lyrics (her smile, she kind etc) vs (her big ol booty in them shorts, sexual this piece of meat that). It was HUGE for me.
Thank you for posting these thoughts, much appreciated!! It’s a difficult time to be a parent but staying in prayer is always helpful. We do the best we can according to His Word and leave the rest to Him.
Divorce makes a destruction in our lives that makes ripples that continue over the years. Maybe it would help to ask the child, for what reason do you want to wear this? That might give you an opportunity to teach a lesson on following others….. Maybe explain that God’s rules are to help us, and protect us….Out of love, you want to protect her too. Instead of letting Mommy have the final word in the life you are trying to give your children (and YOU are homeschooling them). Maybe have rules of modesty in your home, under your care; and the mother’s rules to be respected when the children are with Mom. Just suggestions that you’ve probably all ready considered. In my case the children had so much family from their father’s side (uncles, aunts, cousins) and nearly none from my side. Two of the children now have little or no use for me and don’t seem to remember our lives together when they were children. One of them is more independent and loves her father’s family, yet is so very special and kind to me. Divorce casts a long shadow, There was no way to avoid it. So for any single man or woman reading this…..PLEASE consider seriously WHO YOU CHOOSE TO MARRY. Cute and fun are not the criteria to base your choice of spouse. Nature can trick us. When you look back, you might see as I did: all the signs that were there from the beginning which I chose to ignore. Seek the Wisdom of Torah.
