My first question is why would you be scared to leave your church if you don’t like it anymore. As for Hebrew roots there are many you may not know of. What area do you live in? IF you still can’t find one there is so much on line you can enjoy, teaching and fellowship.

I have been attending a Messianic congregation for about a year now on shabbat and sometimes going to church on sundays but it also have been a struggle to make up a decision on leaving the church. There’s a lot of things going on the churches today that it makes me so sad to even keep on going or listen to their messages. I really enjoy attending services on shabbat and been thinking of getting out. Thanks for sharing.
i have been seeing aome things about the sabbath being tied to the luner calender, i am starting to investagate this, to me it may be a real thing since ancient isreal, used the moon and not our pagan calender, to me i can see their may be something to this, i think this would mean that that SaterdAY IS NOT THE SABBATH DAY, EITHER.

VernonRoot Sir, the whole book of Galatians (read it through again) was all about circumcision of the flesh, not obedience to GOD. Can you quote the verse that says sons of disobedience are children of GOD? PAUL observed TORAH, taught TORAH, JESUS taught TORAH to the HEART!!
For those seeking truth in Hebraic roots – watch as many videos as you can – go to yahtube to get great sermons. Watch Steven Denoon for interesting scriptural comments. Check everything that they say with at least two witnesses from scripture. Read the bible, pray each time you do. This is the same path I have been on – strangely I turned to God 1 year ago and within ten minutes I was a messianic believer because of matthew 5;17-19.
One comment I see is about lunar calendar and sabbath. Here is my take. The lunar calendar is for the feasts of the Lord as described in Lev 23. But remember that both the Sun and Moon are given for signs and times. Sabbath is a weekly cycle – regardless of year or holiday – which means that sometimes a high sabbath can be followed by a weekly sabbath. The same faith you have that God through the scribes of Levi maintained the integrity of Torah can be applied to Sabbath being from Friday eve to Saturday eve – trust that God maintained His sabbath day from the beginning of time. Do you think this new Hebrew movement is such a great idea? Yes, Jesus was a Jew/Hebrew, but for only 33 years, He has been God Forever. Shouldn’t we be focusing on Him being God? How can you possibly reach a single muslim with a Hebrew front Christianity? The muslim faith is exploding right underneath our noses, and we sit around arguing about the Law. The Koran says Muslims are to hate Jews, but the Koran says some Christians are nice, there is our open door.

I just recently started practicing Messianic Judaism. I’d been a Christian since I was a kid in Baptist Church. It took me so long to get it right, to realize that Christmas, Easter, all of the things I’d been celebrating, we’re all wrong. I practice Shabbat, and will be celebrating my first Passover soon. I’m looking forward to it, and looking forward to NOT celebrating secular holidays anymore! I’m thankful that my eyes have been opened! Shalom!! 🕎

I’m so confused about why, Paul’s teachings are always over rulings of YHVH. I’m the same as this man. Grew up in the same doctrine. Found the richness and fullness of the Torah, and fell in love with it. I have not fallen out of love with Yeshua, but have learned how to actually love Abba for once in my life without looking at Him as a Ghandolf type figure, truly look at Him as my Father.
I’m learning to trust Him to go before me into the situation. When my nephew died…..my first memory after the telling of it to me, was being on the ground screaming NO! My next memory is being at the foot of my bed on my knees thanking YHVH for taking him…..that did not come from my carnal heart. It was broken, but my spirit knew it needed to happen and He drew nearer to me through that deep dark valley.
On Passover this past year, it was a definitive healing of my heart. Even though I still weep for my nephew, my Father glued our hearts back together, but he used finer materials than were first there. God, ABBA, Yahweh, YHVH, to me are one. I don’t want to argue over names or tribulation timings. It was all determined before we got here, and won’t change when we leave. It’s time to come back to Your God, the only God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

The Torah is about works the NT is about faith so they both go together one without the other is dead. For we have a sinful flesh body but we’re born in the spirit so we now have a spiritual body that belongs to YESHUA who bought us with a heavy price It’s very important to keep the Shabbat Holy and observe His appointed days

That’s great Christians becoming Jews and now that you are Jews and you observe the laws of Mosses when will you start sacrificing Lambs or killing wives who allegedly cheat on spouse? Or do you pick and choose what laws you follow and not?
