I interviewed Herb Solinsky about the calendar according to the Bible. This is the longer version of the interview. Please post your comments below the video and share this video if you found it helpful. Enjoy.
Herb's website is
Why did he use the fall feast to set the first month and he did know when the new moon is but the last trumph is what he did not know.
Ed Tank I seeeee š… cause NO one knows .. BUT the Father.. when the “crescent” ie the “new moon” will appear…. yeeeaaaahhhhh, I get it!!!! š
He says that the Vernal (Spring) Equinox determines the 1st month and the 14th day of that month is Passover.
You are blessed, that our Father had discovered to you His truth about His only true calendar, seeing so clear in Scriptures, but only for those ho is dedicated for it. God bless you and all your family in the name of His Son Jesus Christ. Amen!
please i need answer,, would this callendar still allow me to keep the festivals such as sabath ( simplest) if i had no computers, or no way to observe motion of sun, earth and moon??
fascinating.
Wow, it didn’t take me that long to figure it out….only using scriptures. YHWH showed to me HIS way, I just placed myself in the group of people coming out of Egypt…..no paper, or pens, no computers, no clocks…… and the sighting of the crescent is incorrect. New Moon Day is time of conjunction, and counts as day 1 of the month.
Vernal Equinox, occurs when the sun crosses the ecliptic….. 9 parts day and 9 parts night, the next day is the first day of the year….it is so simple a child can know what day it is……..
The year starts when the barley is ripe because it is God who controls when this happens similar to when the new moon appears. This can be seen in scripture where it explains day 16 Aviv is called the day of First Fruits, when a sheaf of the new barley harvest was waved before the LORD in the Holy Place in the Temple and an offering of fine barley flour was burnt on the altar of incense in the temple. The year could not begin until the barley was ripe enough to made into fine flour so that it can be offered as a burnt offering:
Leviticus 23
9 The Lord said to Moses, 10āSpeak to the Israelites and say to them: āWhen you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest. 11 He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord so it will be accepted on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath. 12 On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the Lord a lamb a year old without defect, 13 together with its grain offering of two-tenths of an ephaha of the finest flour mixed with olive oilāa food offering presented to the Lord, a pleasing aromaāand its drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine.
The need for the barley to be ripe is confirmed again in Exodus when Moses mentioned that the seventh plague of Hail, happened when the barley was ripe:
Exodus 9:18 + 31
18 Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now. 31 (The flax and barley were destroyed, since the barley had headed and the flax was in bloom. 32 The wheat and spelt, however, were not destroyed, because they ripen later.)
This shows that it was the beginning of spring in the month the Jews call Aviv, which literally means young barley or spring.
Ok, can you please, simplicity, explain 2018 as far as the ripened barley and when is new year, and the first weekly Sabbath? Thank you in advance for your help.
Guide To The Bible Genesis 1:14-19 says The Sun, Moon and Stars are for the Moed, it does not mention Barley. How did Noah see Barley on the Ark? How did Israelites check Barley when they were not farming but eating manna in the Wilderness?
Good replies
Thank you so much for treasures in your web site!
Torah Life Ministries or anyone, Please, simplicity, explain 2018 as far as the ripened barley and when is new year, and the first weekly Sabbath? What scripture speaks of the Vernal Equinox? Thank you in advance for help.
This guy knows his stuff!
Is Saturday still the sabbath?
Genevieve Perez no
+N3RDNirvana Yes, it is. The fact that catholics changed it to sunday to worship the sun god is irrelevant, the Ten Commandments don’t change and are still binding. God bless =)
Rachel Garcia no it didnāt your going by the wrong calendar, the ancients had their own system. The most high is set apart, so are his appointed days, feasts, sabbaths, and people. Blessings
+N3RDNirvana Which calendar are you using to count the feasts ? I’m so confused about it.
How many years has it been since the creation?
Some people study and study and they still never come to the knowledge of the truth one thing is we don’t need to see the moon this is not ancient times we have planes that can Fly Above clouds that can see the moon we have computer programs that can track the moon and it’s hidden paths, so we don’t need to see it anymore to understand what it’s doing clouds cannot hide the Moon from us nowadays….. It takes all three things in the Heavens to calculate the correct time, the sun calculates the years the moon calculates the months the Stars calculate the days it’s just like the clock hands minutes hours and seconds…..
Sir, I take it you must still be a Christian. I wanna also say you almost got it. Keep Diggin, keep searching, donāt think with your head, your mind, allow the Rach of YAHUSHA to guide you. Yes the new moon is correct for feast days but I take it that youāre still using the Catholic pagan Pope Gregoryās Gregorian calendar for man-made Sabbaths. Because you got your information from the Jewish / Manās calendar another words youāre still using the calendar that says Sunday, Moon day, Mars day Mercury day, Jupiter day, Venus day and Saturn/Saturday for your man-made Sabbath. Keep digging, keep searching one of these days you might get it right.
at the minute 5:20 you talk about Genesis 1:14 and you say that the LIGHTS of sun moon and stars show the beginnings of the years, look again at the genesis and understand that the first Shabbat was an illuminated moon and as the moon was created was illuminating which means it almost fool moon as you read in 1 Samuel 20:5, which means that until rabbi Hillel the second in 359CE thJewsws respected this 3 days as holy days look at 1 Samuel 20:24 …
again 1 Samuel 20:27 and we read about that at that time it was a holy time to bring sacrifices to Yehovah our Elohim, and now read Psalm 81:3 at the new moon the full moon is our holy day, the crest moon is a satanist Babylonian day, the exodus was at night on the 15th of ABIB ….CONTACT ME AND I WILL HELP YOU TO KNOW THE REAL CALLENDAR
at the minute 6:27 do you know that in Israel was famine in the time of Elijah? ( MORE THEN 3 YEARS ) it was no green grass for cows about barley what do you think? it was? which means the plants are not for signs and to declare ABIB … HOW DO YOU DECLARE ABIB AT THE NORTH POLE ?
AT MINUTE 3:00 YOU TALK ABOUT 3 GROUPS OF KARAITE which had different calendars
at minute 7:14 you speak about that the lights in the haven declare the beginning of the year ….yes you are correct not the barley because in the famine times is no barley not even green grass for cows
the jews from Egypt or Greece had 10 days to come to Israel from the NIGHT of the first day of the fool moon ( FIRST OF ABIB) until the 13th ABIB day, which was preparation day (13th-14th day) the first Sabbath was on the 8th day they had to rest, ( the moon was half moon on the 8th day)and the moonlight decrease and on the 13th it was almost black nights, in black moon days was no more possible to walk in the negro nights.
however on the 14th day ABIB they had to be in Israel for the lamb and goat killing and then on the first day after the sabbath which means on the 15th Abib AT NIGHT they counted the Omer the 50 days to Shavuot, the today Jews are wrong about the Hillel 359CE calendar.
