Moving forward through the epistles (letters) of the apostle Paul we arrive at the letter to the Colossians where Rabbi Steve Berkson points out the various recurring themes throughout all of Paul’s writings, comparing things which are above with things that are earthly, righteousness with unrighteousness, that which is of life with that which is of death. Rabbi Steve shows how Paul was admonishing his followers to go ‘beyond the mechanics’ of Torah observance to an obedience from the heart, speaking and doing in the name of the Master Yeshua, with thankfulness to Elohim the Father through Him.
