  1. there are numerous examples where we have to wonder, with such misunderstandings who has guided the transliteration of meaning. I was reading through Jeremiah 19 the other day which is among the more challenging prophetic claims to read, and is shortly followed by Jeremiah’s expressed concerns (Jeremiah 20). But one of the problems I found was how the wording of these chapters are constituted:

And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.

And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passeth thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.

And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and straitness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.
    (Jeremiah 19:7 – 9)

now any examination of the Hebrew of this text will show a significant difference in meaning, it does say these things will come to pass, what it does not so specifically state is that God will directly cause these events to happen. The “And I will cause them..” part is added ! It is not in the Hebrew, and this changes the meaning altogether significantly.

the difference in meaning as I understand is the same that might be examined from earlier as with proceeding examples where God is acknowledged as the ultimate source, but not as the specific cause. There is a difference, anything that happens, such as Israel’s destruction and how it was destroyed came about because God’s power was lifted, the special protections offered were no longer given, and so destruction follows, but not all forms of destruction are specifically endorsed or caused directly by God. This example is later verified by the very powers that were brought to Israel after its protection was lost are also subsequently judged for the type of destruction they wrought !

so in these verses the meaning is that such a calamity will befall that even these types of events will happen, yet this is not the same, and not Scripturally evident in the text, to mean God is specifically causing the events themselves.

the “I will make” and “I will cause” are not in the Hebrew, they are English additions before what is said will come to pass, which significantly changes the meaning of the verses.

  2. I am going to town to buy more than one of these bibles NOW, but first, for those who have an ear. Immanuel, God with us will pray to the Father, that we may have the Spirit of the Father, for a Teacher, and Comforter, Forever in the bible book of John, chapter 14, verse 26. John, chapters 14, through 17, Teach us how to have the Spirit of Truth live within us. Forgive Everyone from the Heart… Peace children

  3. Awesome! l bought 9 of these Bibles for my family. l want us all to have the best translated Word of LORD* I never did like King James growing up as a child. l totally love this Bible and appreciate all the work that has gone into this. You will be blessed.

  4. I readily stress to all Christians to read the Torah in Hebrew or at least have a linear translation in which the hebrew and English are side by side. You can slowly try doing ONE verse a day with the Hebrew and find how deep it is. I often when learning Torah go to “Bible HUb” the Christian site which has 23 versions of the Bible. For we Jews 1 version has lasted 3452 years.

  5. I saw the advertisement for this Bible “version”. There are a few examples comparring the KJV to this New one. Straaange, this New version ALSO misses the point totally.
