This is a study on the 2nd Torah Portion of the book of Numbers. It covers information about purifying the camp, Nazirite laws, and offerings of dedication.

blessings to you and your beautiful ladies, paul!!!! thank you for another great study!
The sabbath was known acording to the Bible, to Adam, Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
It does not say that in Deut. 5;2-3 that no one keep the Sabbath from Adam to Moses. That is the veil put on your Heart because of the Sin you keep ( sin= breaking of the commandments of YHWH)
There is no reason for me to waste anymore of my time with this, I passed this understand that you have years ago and if you are that blind he will keep help you stay that way , That is scripture
Why it’s in the new testament that Paul asked Peter ,why do you tell the gentiles to do as the jews and circumsize?Because you don’t wnt to suffer persecution for the cross of Jesus Christ.Denise T.
That’s the levitical priesthood which with the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who now is the High priest and his blood has paid the price for all men’s sins forever.Denise T.
According to the new testament whatever you eat is sanctified by prayer.Denise T.
You are right the. The 4th. commandment tells us to… Remember the sabbath, to keep it holy…. sanctified, set-apart. Pray for danielefsot’s eyes to be opened.
Have you forgotten the 4th. commandment….. don’t get hung up on the 613 laws if you cant sh’ma even the 10 !
Right…. from the beginning He set it apart.
You missed the first book and what was known, even Abraham keep it and knew it. Gen 26:5 ” Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws”. It was not until they had been defiled with pagan gods did it have to be renewed for them, but they still kept the Sabbath. Saying that the Sabbath is not eternal is the same as saying Yeshua lied about when he said the statement in Math.5:18-20.
Circumcision has nothing to do with your salvation, that is the mark that you are a Hebrew or Israelite , but it does not say in the Bible anywhere that you must be circumcised in the Flesh . The circumcision of the flesh or of the Heart is required .
One I am not your brother, and secondly I will not debate about dead Fathers for all that had been freed at that point were dead, Deuteronomy means re-giving of the teaching or Law. Good luck with your renewed covenant , or the putting of the Torah in our hearts,
..still trying to figure all this out-and find out that grace and Torah go together (it’s inside the mercy seat). SO how does he do that? By saying like to the rich young ruler “Do what YHVH’s will is-follow the instructions AND follow me whole heartedly love the poor/one another, etc. Yeah, Torah cannot save us, it teaches only the path(guidelines) that we recognize our sin, only Jesus’ blood/faith in him can save us,but after that he will change us bit by bit to obey him and love him/his will.
it’s said “REMEMBER” (interestingly enough the longest law-read Jes 56 and 65 carefully, too-it’s for our time) so some of it was already prior to Moses-also the dietary laws – how else would Noah have known to take only one pair of each unclean and 7 pairs of the clean animals on the ark (the clean ones to eat & still make sure the animals don’t die out) – our creator has the blue print of the animals and what purpose they have (e.g.lobster is of the cockroach family). Also read Matt 5,19ff
If you will notice he skipped one the rich man did not keep, YOU SHALL NOT COVET >>> No the Torah is for showing us and teaching us the way that YHVH finds pure, and we can not keep it without breaking it, as Yeshua said , the Torah says “you shall not murder”, but I say unto you that whosoever gets angry at his neighbor is in danger of the Judgement, Sorry I don’t have time to get into all you seek, but your on the right path so his grace will cover you. Shalom
😉 not sure either, I thought I replied to Ed… well I thought since Abel, Noah and Abraham new some of the stuff…(Gen 26,5 it tells of Abraham that he kept the commandments) I thought the teachings that most of hebrew roots follows, was correct that only the levitical law with the installement of the tent, ark of covenant and the sacreficial law was really new… I think it was Paul who said it that the law was added, so we know where we go out of the will of the father (sin).
heaving said that; although all have fallen short of the glory and we never can keep it fully – it will never be enough like Jesus/Yeshuah pointed out, he wants us to follow him in keeping it. The only way I see fit is to constantly ask what’s his will/look what Torah tells me (faith-/love-wise and law-wise) ask the Holy Spirit to give us the power to do it and constantly be humble and know that out of my flesh it’s not enough and I cannot boast around how I keep HIS commandments…
Read Johns letters on the topic – he is terrific!!
Thank you for the help with this reading
