The Sedona Combo Rawfood Dehydrator comes packed with outstanding features like the digital thermostat, dual fan technology, stainless steel handle, and a transparent glass door. These features combine to offer unparalleled control and whisper-quiet operation.
With the revolutionary Two-Stage Sequential Temperature-Timer (TST), even more control is at your fingertips.
The TST allows you to set the Sedona Combo to kickstart the dehydration process at a higher temperature and then automatically lower the temperature to finish off the dehydration process.
The automatic settings of the TST allow for faster dehydration times while still preserving your precious enzymes.
Certain fruits and vegetables with high water contents require a higher initial dehydrating temperature in order to prevent fermentation. Because of the high water content, the internal temperature of the food rises at a very slow rate. Starting at a high temperature for the first couple of hours does not degrade the precious nutrients of your food as long as the temperature is lowered to finish off the dehydration process. You used to have to set an alarm to remind yourself to come back to your dehydrator to lower the temperature. With the TST, this chore is handled automatically.

We are raw foodists, and we are planning to buy our first dehydrator. A lot of friends have recommended the Excalibur to me. Would you say the new Sedona model is better? It looks more complex – is it easy to use?
Just my opinion here. I have a 4 tray excalibur, and it looks like these tribest ones were inspired by the excalibur models, but improved on in every way lol. I never tried one, but they look better.
Excalibur still tip the top spot by a small margin in this category. Apart from the current top of line models having similar functions, excalibur is full Stainless, 2 door, 6.5 inch fan but costs more. Sedona uses more energy, takes longer as its drying wave works at a lower temperature than Excal.
This guy obviously received his as a marketing initiative, hence him pushing this brand so much. once he’s used Excalibur EXC10EL for 1yr then I could rate his review as objective, just maybe?
Good day – I was wondering what is the high temp you use for 1 hr to bring to low (maybe 105) after? Regards and Thank you very much.
What is the high temp that you use for the first hour?
Thank you
gabriel says to for the first 3 hours max
