"Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, 'I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,' "
Hebrews 13:5
Those who have money know that money does not satisfy, yet those without it believe it is the answer. Listen, we will definitely face significant challenges if we don't have money to put a roof over our head and food in our stomach. However, Jesus tells us he will never leave us nor forsake us. A truly rich person is one who has learned how to be content with what they have. The Apostle Paul said he had learned a secret in life- he learned how to be content in every situation, whether he had a lot or a little. God is our fullness. Jesus says life consists not of the abundant things, but life consists of joy, peace, love, and power in the Holy Spirit. Search for the One who wells up within us and becomes a river of living water. In Jesus are all of the treasures of life. Give your heart to Him. He has more for you and I than we could ever imagine.

Great message Rabbi! I was touched by your trip to Uganda. I worked in Uganda in 1991 and Jews and people that visited Israel were not allowed in many Muslim Countries including sub-Saharan African Countries like Uganda at that time! When I saw you ministering to the people I was overcome with joy! Hate is a horrible thing and I was persecuted as a Jew for three weeks in Uganda after I attempted to erect a historic plaque at the Airport in Entebbe honoring the Israeli hero’s including Netanyahu’s heroic older brother that was tragically killed in the rescue mission! I also tried to erect a historic plaque at a hidden Hindu shrine near the airport where South Asians prayed as the tried to flee the Indian Holocaust conducted by Ide Amin.
It seems like a new day in Uganda with the AIDS virus down to 6% when it was up as high as 33.3% in 1991 and the fact that they are more accepting of people now! I was interrogated by my employer and he knew I was circumcised because I worked out at a local gym and he did not know North American Christians were circumcised! A few years ago I got a DNA test because my mother told me I was Scotch Irish and not Native Irish after 25 years of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day dressed in green! I was floored when I got the results because I am a mixture of every area of Europe including European Jew plus 2% West Asian most likely from Turkey through Persian and from Georgia thru Syria! I was floored and delighted to see I am Spanish, Scandinavian, Italian, Eastern European and Western European but far more British than I thought! I love all my new cultures and I have been very close to Native Americans, Africans and East Asians in my life and I would have loved to have DNA from those cultures but I thank God for the rich diversity he gave me because it makes me feel apart of these magnificent cultures! I wonder what would have happened if I knew I was part Jewish then, I am very proud of all of my ethnic groups and I would never deny any of my groups so I would have most likely been expelled!
It was so awesome to see you in Uganda because they have changed there policy for the better! LOGO recently called Uganda the most anti-Gay country in the world and when I was there I was openly friends with three openly gay Doctors fighting the AIDS crisis! I was scolded by my boss for being close friends with the English Doctor but we had a bond in that he lived in the same neighborhood as my English brother-in-law and we would talk about London a lot! Hate is so destructive and you made me proud going to Uganda and helping good and needy people! I love Uganda, especially the suffering people, so keep up the great work and I pledge to donate more to your worthy causes!

“The only people who think money is the answer, don’t have any money”. That’s not true. You should meet some members of my family. They never stop. They don’t know when to stop. Nothing is ever enough for them.
