Today, the trumpet sounded again. It was exactly 70 years ago on this day – December 6, 1947 — that Harry Truman believed that he was chosen by the Almighty to make a proclamation to the world that Israel be established as an independent state.
Now, 70 years later, another trumpet has sounded — a trumpet that proclaims that Jerusalem is the rightful capital of the state of Israel.
