In the Gettysburg Address of 1863, President Abraham Lincoln stated that “government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.” However, many would argue that notion is not what it used to be. So, what’s happening? What can we do about it as believers? And where do we go from here?
In this new series Politics for Believers, we get the answers from Natalia Castro, a political writer, cabinet member with Future Female Leaders, a speaking coach, and one of the most respected voices for conservative women.
This is a very informative interview you do not want to miss, only on the next episode of Shabbat Night Live!

  1. The woman might be very nice, but her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. She also has only got book learning and no life experience which makes her opinions very shallow. Sorry…had to turn in it off. btw… I worked in the income assistance dept for may years deciding whether someone was eligible for income assistance or not…and life is just not that black and white.

  2. ‘if any would not work, neither should he eat’ is one of the most misinterpreted verses in the Bible. It does not mean people should starve, we are commanded to feed the poor. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 deals specifically with Paul and his 2 companions. They placed this upon themselves to be an example for the Thessalonians. This is no commandment from GOD.

The problem with the welfare system is it favors single mothers and heavily penalizes men. Giving people the security of being able to eat and have a roof over their heads is why governments were created.

Mark my words, Democrats will be out in droves voting because of the Republicans pushing work requirements. Why do Republicans always mess up when they get in control? Now we’ll have to deal with transvestite rights and pedophilia rights…all because some Republicans and Christians don’t want their tax dollars going to the poor.

  3. No welfare only disabled. When I was eight years old I ask my Mother for a nickle, she said get a job!I you don’t work you don’t eat.I started working for other people,At age11 I worked for a landlord for 42cents an hour ad I was proud to be working.

  4. It is an abomination to support any one to be in authority over others who supports either abortion, the LBGT lifestyle , the removal of God from the schools or the taking from one to give to another. They are all abominations to GOD.

    David, Man of God

  5. Gen 12:3
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
    Blessed!!! not enslave and/or slain!

  6. Our Savior Who Art in Heaven, Please Bless Everyone on Earth. (Especially “The Elites” & Their Minions Inside the World’s Banks & Governments) Who Plot Against God & Their Fellow Man. So They’ll Not Themselves Fall Into The Snares They’ve Set for Others. (May God Grant Them “The Wisdom to Change Their Ways” Before They May Pass & Face Judgement Day at His Throne). In Jesus Name, Amen <3
