Today I am talking about a subject that many people feel passionate about. Like it or not, the Bible does talk about wine. Also a challenge to all my viewers.

Didn’t you understand anything Paul said?
The Rastafarian believes that when The Most High appeared in the burning bush to Moses, that bush was the Hemp plant!
God bless you!
Please look in the context of what jesus was talking about, read the verses brefore that, and don’t take one verse an apply it to everything. may the lord open your eyes.
Title “What Does The BIBLE Say About Wine?” yet not ONE scripture to support your opinion. The title should be “What does Paul Nisan say about wine”. I am not saying I disagree or agree with your views, however I do expect scripture references otherwise it is JUST your opinion.
Can you please elaborate more on Proverbs 31:6-7 if it’s not ok to drink alcohol? ‘Give beer to those who are persihing, wine to those who are in anguish; let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more.’
Drunkenness might be understandable among dying people in great pain during that time. They didn’t have drugs (pain killers) back then. but it is always inexcusable for nation leaders.
Thank you. I have always wondered about that verse. Lol Although I do not drink alcohol anyway, I tend to not come down nor judge those who work very hard and come home and pop open a beer or those who have a glass of wine after dinner.
Take a look at the word qaneh strong H7070. It changed my whole perspective on this, the root of Cannabis starts with this word and its purpose changed my thinking forever. Shalom.
Here is the simple truth from the word “do not be drunk” so please read 1st Timothy 5:23 and Duet 4:26. These clearly show that it is okay. It is simple do not be drunk. The word for Cannabis comes from the root qahen H7070, this was used to burn to YHWH not for a man to be an El. Let the word be your guide. Shalom
Noah was upset seeing the people were all dead and got drunk, BUT his consequences were that his son sinned and continued in sin and it started with this drunkeness of Noah. Like Davids kids had major consequences because of living in His dads sins. Many women and sons that fought eachother and caused strife, Solomon had women that took his heart away from YHWH. I wouldn’t do it. You are not to drink wine in the temple and we ARE the temple!
Marijuana is not toxic to the body in all forms. Smoke it …yes it is toxic. I believe if you use a distiller and draw out the hemp oil from it…It can be very healing and beneficial to ones body. Now, alcohol has absolutely no health benefits at all. Hemp oil just like other essential oils of the bible has ben known to cure cancer.
The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’ But wisdom is proved right by her deeds.”
matthew 11:19
Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities. 1 timothy 5:23 To much wine can give you a tummy ache. Isnt this common knowledge?
If you read the bible you would know that drunkards won’t inherit the kingdom of Yaweh. 1 Corinthians 6:10
Stephanie Warsley there is a difference between drinking some wine and being a drunkard!
i believe that alcohol should drank with responsibility if it makes you stumble in the faith don’t drink it, and marijuana can be used to cure several diseases and should only be used as necessary, not like in modern day just to get high…
CBD and THC are 2 elements in marijuana …. THC is the stuff that gets you high. CBD does not…CBD is the medicinal side of it….so use cbd for pain , cancer, seizures and so on….people that are smoking the THC …. it’s only to get high .
“Woe to thee, O land, when thy king is a child, and thy princes eat in the morning! Blessed art thou, O land, when thy king is the son of nobles, and thy princes eat in due season, for strength, and not for drunkenness!”
Ecclesiastes 10:16-17 KJV
I did not know this doctrine was in the scripture before hearing it in this video and looking up the reference. Thanks for enlightening me. I’ve been practicing this behavior of not eating unless I really need strength, however, I had no idea that it was taught in the bible. I feel that It’s unnecessary to eat a lot of food unless you have a lot of work to do. Eat for strength, and not for drunkenness! What a concept
Paul, your comparison of wine and marijuana are not equivalent at all. Drinking a glass of wine does not in any way equal smoking even one puff of weed in the level of impairment or duration. We also never see our Messiah smoking or eating weed. Herbs, as you know are useful for specific purposes, some for flavor and most have some medicinal health benefit. It could be marijuana is for medicinal purposes but I would not equate its recreational use with moderate consumption of wine.
Beer by the way is the worst thing you can ever drink, it’s in no way healthy and also people get the munchies when they drink pints(in small amounts)https://youtu.be/PNq-JcVlYD4?t=1184 hence the beer belly. Also red wine gives people migraines easily, on top of that people feel sluggish even after one glass of red(in small amounts) the next day, just look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXywStESdi8 The heart benefits of red wine for young people(20s-30s) are marginal, Not big. Some people think alcohol is a sleep aid, it helps you to sleep(temporarily) https://youtu.be/PNq-JcVlYD4?t=2138 but then when the effect wears off, you become restless. It affects your body’s natural sleeping pattern,.it steals a precious chemical in your body called ‘the human growth hormone’.
Cannabis like all other medicinal herb’s have some negative effects but used properly the benefits out weigh those effect’s. the same can be said for alcohol it is all about how you use it and how much. and yes, if I had a child who had cancer or seizures I would give them cannabis.
The CBD in marijuana is the medicinal part . NOT THC… thc is the part that gets you high. So for the medicinal part…CBD…. yes, it would be fine…CBD does not get you high…only thc
the bible says be of sober mind the enemy is prowling like a lion seeking to devour and destroy… why drink and smoke because some ppl in the bible got drunk being drunk is a sin! an coming from a culture of drinking wen ppl r drunk they usually say they r not. from my research the word wine in the bible was translated frm greek wrong and wine when mentioned in the bible is actually like fruit drink and when the bible mentions alcohol its called strong drink do a little research ppl.
knowing what i know now i wld never give my children alcohol or weed nt even for medical reasons i believe God is the great healer im not going to make my children open and vulnerable to open doors to demons by giving them these things its a lie from the devil i wish ppl wld stop falling for it. besides if my body is a temple for Yahweh y wld i put alcohol and weed in there how will i hear wat he is saying if im drunk and high both alcohol and weed slowly brings ppl to alcohol induced and chemical induce psychosis an i worked with these ppl and they too dont think weed and alcohol is a problem. be healthy ppl jus say NO.
