CF; I agree with you 100 per cent!!! I would never have it, as the treatment kills more than the disease. However, according to Cancer Research UK, treatment has saved many lives. Please see, Ten Myths About Cancer. Please reply to me, as to why you would not have chemo.
The biggest problem I have with chemotherapy is the long-term side effects/damage that it can cause in some people. Many people do recover from the side-effects eventually but some don’t and go on to have long-term health problems. What about quality of life? Is life worth saving if treatment is going to reduce its overall quality? Saving life is commendable but I have to wonder at what cost for many cancer survivors!

My mom died. She had cancer. But I believe she did die from the chemo. And it made her suffer. If I ever get cancer…I wont do chemo..I wont suffer like that…even if it would mean that I would have a few days less to live. But I wont do chemo…its awful and heartbreaking and horrible!

My mum has cancer. Luckily, modern day treatments exist, and she was fine. Your mum did not die from chemo, she died from cancer. If you don’t take the chemo, don’t be surprised when you die too! Not like you deserve to live if you refuse treatment based on uneducated lies.
Owen thank you I’m 12 and have Hodgkin’s lymphoma and I have been responding great to chemo I had a few bad days but I’m grateful that I can afford and handle it. Yes it is a toxin but it’s the best we have
I rejected chemo as well! testicular cancer, an oncologist even told me I “could eat all the McDonalds I wanted” after chemo. my MRI scan showed no cancer cells in my body after surgery so I said no thanks. my medical tried dropping me for being a “high risk” but I’ve been cancer free ever since surgery, 7 years cancer free with no Chemo. What I learned about big pharma and doctors profits are downright shocking and inhumane. Research saved my life. 🙂

u really need to study in to chemo therapy. Chemo is most likely to fail. Chemo will not work for everyone. the facts shows that patients that undergo chemo will have a higher chance of death. if u have learnt your science or even watching the video, chemo destroys cells because of mustard. their is a higher chance of being cured from cancer if u undergo nutritional therapy.

If you ask almost any doctor who isn’t money hungry and actually cares about their patients, they will tell you that chemotherapy is just to sqeeze every last drop of money out of the elderly and those who don’t know any better. You’d live longer and a more happy life without it. Also’d, probably stand a better chance living.

And 95% of developed countries dorm pay for their medical bills so how does chemo make money? My mother had cancer. +Owen Dr Colleen Huber has been treating cancer naturally for 5 years. She states in open forum that hospitals rely on cancer patients to make money for them. She states that insurance companies will pay up to $50,000 for chemotherapy chemicals for just one patient. Sounds like a rip-off for money to me.

Cancer Research UK claims that conventional treatment is very effective, especially treating childhood cancer. Whom do I believe?
Watch out for “antidepressant” weiling doctors that will do everything to force you, including fight you legally, to take their poison. If everyone that chemo harmed honestly knew the truth, this huge industry would collapse. It is their job to scare you and when things get worse, blame everything but the poison forced straight into your system and make you think your only chance is more of the same until you are unable to take more and now.. unable to tell anyone, anything, ever again. Then, they blame the cancer. I have had my rights ignored all for my, “best interest,” when I finally walked out, they sent “counselors” to tell me they were going to make me take it. +rae0521 Yes, obviously it is poison. No one WANTS chemo. But what is the alternative? A horrible and slow death by cancer. It’s sad to talk to doctors who tell stories about people who are diagnosed with cancer and believe these conspiracies. They’ve grown up around people telling them this, with no education all their lives, so you can’t blame them. They refuse treatment, then come back 6 months down the line, when everything else has (obviously) failed, with not long left to live. They ask for be saved by actual medicine and science, but by then it is too late. By the time they realise how stupid they’ve been, they’re already in palliative care.

Isn’t it puzzling how few stats are available detailing the number of people who die from the CHEMO and not the cancer?
The generalizations in your posting clearly don’t apply to everyone. Each individual knows his or her body far better than any doctor. I am 80 with aggressive bladder cancer that, as far as they can tell, has not spread. I feel pretty good now. I have the option to enter into chemo BEFORE the surgery, which will not only DELAY the surgery for SIX MONTHS (while the cancer continues to do whatever it’s doing) but make me sick as a dog for half a year), OR, I can have the surgery to remove the bladder and tumors while I’m still strong enough to undergo the operation.
I choose NO CHEMO. It’s my life and that’s my choice. No one else has anything to say about it. Death doesn’t frightened me – it’s a waste of time fearing it.
rae0521 that’s a nice idea that people know their own body better than a doctor, but it’s not true. That’s why they have a 7 year degree and you don’t. That’s why they’re in the hospital working and you aren’t. I am not surprised you’re the age you are- the older generations generally got less education and are less open minded. It’s a shame, but I guess people get set in their ways.
I am truly sorry that you have cancer. I hope you choose the right option, and I hope whatever treatment you have chosen works out to be the right one, and that you recover just fine.

Doctors and hospitals make a ton of money on chemo drugs and all the complications that it causes later. Doctor’s who push standard chemo and radiation and drastically harm a patient without considering other alternative treatments are evil and criminal, and should be charged, tried and thrown in prison.

It all depends on age and health, chemo works different for everyone.
